I bought a meatball sandwich with grilled onions and bell peppers the other day. It was so salty that I took one bite and could not eat it. I was on my way out of town so I kept the sandwich to return it the next day. The Manager Chris said there was nothing they could do for me because I did not call that day. I asked her where is that stated anywhere. She said it was not posted. She said she was going to call the District Manager. Chris remade my sandwich and you could tell she was mad that she was making it. It was the worst sandwich that I ever had there. She put big chunks of raw bell peppers and not melted cheese on top. I would have done better getting a refund and not returning.

Experience racism at this store the other day. They made my sandwich very poor with bell peppers on it when I specifically did not want them on it. I am allergic to bell peppers. They told me they could not help me . The manager looked like a young guy. He was very rude and talking to me like I’m incompetent. However, i gave them the sandwich back and left . No refund or anything. I guess he felt like i was just trying to get free food. That was not the case, i am literally allergic to bell peppers. They can keep my food and money, i don’t care . Needless to say i will never be back or recommend them.

We ordered two sandwiches and both of them were wrong. My daughter is a very picky eater and is very sensitive to anything “spicy”. (I’m not picky so I just ate mine.)
We ordered her large sub with yellow mustard and no tomatoes. They gave us a sub with tomatoes and spicy deli mustard. We’re not the complaining type so I told my daughter to take off the tomatoes and eat it. She took a bite and said it tasted weird. I told her to eat it anyways and she took another bite and spit it out and that’s when I noticed that had spicy mustard.
We took it to the cashier and he said he would make us another one. When he brought the sandwich out, he said that his manager “Grace” said that she would only replace half of the sandwich because my daughter had eaten off the other half. You could literally see where she spit it out next to the sandwich. Keep in mind they messed up both of our sandwiches and we were only trying to get my daughter’s corrected.
I complained through the app and I’ve asked on two different occasions to have the manager of the Arlington, “Grace”, call me which she is still not done. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was a misunderstanding because if that’s how they do business there, that’s super petty.

Giving 4 stars because this place is awesome, always has been awesome. What is bringing me to write this review is less awesome but I trust it can be correct with some slight coaching. I don’t know names it don’t matter but the last 2 times we have had the same dude check us out. The experience has been not great, both times he’s been texting inbetween questions, this time he also had a friend hanging out which is cool but we had to wait for him to finish his conversation before he came to us. My complaints are minor. I do love this place.

Food is always on point. We eat here often! Customer service is up and down. Sometimes it’s great! Today not so great. I placed an order for myself, my son, and his friend. I asked the young man did he get everything and he said, “yes.” I asked him if he needed to review the order. He said, “No. I got it.” Wait time a little longer due to busy time frame.

This is where the service declined. My order was ready. I get ready to grab the sandwiches and notice that 1 of them had ranch on it. It was supposed to be plain. Just meat, cheese, bread, lettuce. That’s okay mistakes happen. Right? Not the case. The gentleman went back and forth with me about what I said I wanted on each sandwich. Thankfully, I am a ln adult and stayed respectful and restated what I ordered and why I requested him to review the order.

The young lady stepped in and I asked her to just change the top bun. No worries.

The young man may have been new and not aware of how to provide service.

Ordered the Thanksgiving turkey sub with dressing and cranberry sauce. Also ordered a container of gravy on the side (as suggested by other reviewers). The sub was “good” but it did not have nearly enough cranberry sauce. The side gravy we purchased was literally 1 tablespoon of gravy. It was so little gravy that you couldn’t even scrape it from the sides to get enough to taste it on your sandwich. Our group all ordered the same thing. We were shocked and dismayed about spending the extra $ for gravy and receiving only a tablespoon in a cup size container. We thought we were going to be able to dip our sandwiches but we could only barely scrape enough out to even taste it on the sandwich. I don’t think this is indicative of all Firehouse subs as reviews showed people ordering gravy that was substantially more than we received. We may go back for the sub at this location but we won’t be purchasing the spit of gravy. Not worth it. We will take it home and use our own. The owner needs to take notice because this will hurt their business. Many people won’t come back for this type of experience. We will try another Firehouse sub location and review our experience. $37 for 2 subs w/ 1T gravy for each sandwich. We learned a valuable lesson here. Take note.

Was there for lunch, we’ve been loyal customers for the last few months because we drive from Somerville tn just to enjoy a great sub and great service, today was horrible our subs were thrown together very messy and not very appealing to the eyes . The service was very different from our previous visits .My husband and I usually spend around 40$ each visit today we tried to pay we were 5$ short and they refused to take a 100$ bill.So we had to use what cash we had in change and but 7$ on a credit card. Very disappointed

BEWARE! I ordered from here tonight, and found a bug floating in the soup I called doordash and was offered a 5 dollar credit. I told them to keep it because I would never use it. Who wants to eat food from a kitchen that obviously has bugs crawling around in it?!? I should have been compensated for the entire order, because i was not eating any of it. I called the firehouse ocation and asked them if I brought the food back could I get a refund. They also said no. Lesson learned! I will never use doordash or eat anything from here again. They could have made this right, but chose not to. We threw it all in the trash, I was not about to feed anything made in this kitchen to my children.

The past 2 months have been in this Firehouse 3 times. The sandwich bread is smaller (on the narrow side). So much so, when you take a bite… the sandwich filling falls out of the sandwich. In the past month I have been to 2 other local Firehouse locations, and their breads are still the thickness they have been for decades.

Ordered 2 steak and cheese, was asked did I want anything else with my club sandwich, bread had mold on it, corporate website and phone number don’t work, got 3 sandwiches total. I expect better for 50$
