Great spot for a large groups who want impeccable service and atmosphere. They easily accommodated our group of 8 and our server, Heather, did an amazing job. She made thoughtful suggestions (asking what we normally get, what we were thinking and helped us make the perfect choice for us) and was always there when we needed her. My nephew has a food allergy and she was great about checking the items he was considering. I had the Bison Ravioli (one of her recommendations) and it was delicious!! My MIL and some others were here before and had the Lemon Piccata Chicken – it wasn’t on the menu but Heather asked the chef on their behalf and he made it for them. (I got a taste and it was so good.) Hubby had the filet (along with a couple others) and they were prepared perfectly and tasted great! Nephew tried the bison steak and shared a bite with his aunt…my first taste of bison steak – it was tender and tasty. He loved it! We also enjoyed a nice bottle of wine from their HUGE selection and of course we all had dessert: crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, tiramisu and salted caramel gelato…all were yummy!! Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. Perfect end to our family vacation.

Michelangelo’s Italian Cuisine in Big Sky is truly a gem! The bison ravioli and tortufa truffle pasta were absolutely amazing—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I also highly recommend the wagyu beef carpaccio, which was incredibly tender, and the calamari, which was perfectly crispy and fresh. The entire experience was fantastic, from the authentic Italian atmosphere to the warm and attentive service. Whether you’re craving a fine dining experience or looking for unique dishes, Michelangelo’s is a must-visit in Big Sky!

The food was fantastic! One of best meals I have had anywhere. A bit pricey but similar to other restaurants in Big Sky. The food however was way above anywhere else we ate in Big Sky area. Shrimp appetizer was phenomenal, unlike any I have ever had. The main course and also 1/2 plate of risotto we shared were also fantastic. Bison steak with mushroom sauce (calling it mushroom sauce does not come close to doing it justice) fingerling potatoes and broccolini was definitely one of best entrees I have ever had, and I travel a lot and eat at fine restaurants all over North America. Recommend highly!!

Food did not meet expectations at this price range, there were no dishes that really stood out other than the Tiramisu. Salmon was overcooked, pastas were very thick/unrefined… Service was fair, location is good.

Discovered this place on a Big Sky visit back on 2019, hadn’t made it back on on any of my last 3 trips since so was glad to finally make it back, even though the only reservation we could get was super early.
We ordered several half portions of pasta to split for variety, along with antipasti & a nice bottle of wine.
Definitely one of our favorite places to eat in Big Sky!

What an elegant meal in such a warm, comfortable environment. Michelle, our server, was outstanding. She actually completely saved us by helping us figure out a ride back to the resort. (Someone at the hotel had said Uber wouldn’t be a problem at 10:00 on a Saturday- be warned, that was not the case!) The food was SO flavorful and well prepared. Every dish was so satisfying, I could go on and on. Overall totally romantic, fabulous meal. Thanks everyone for making our night so special!!
