We visited Cookerz Blend today and had a wonderful experience. Mo, our server (and the owner), went above and beyond to take care of us while also managing the bar and the kitchen. His drinks were fantastic, and the food was 100%! Since he was the only one working, service was a bit slow, but we didn’t mind at all—the wait was absolutely worth it.
The mac and cheese is a must-try, and the jerk chicken with rice and peas was delicious. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Superb oxtail meal. Lima bean flavored rice, wonderfully delicious gravy. Top 5 oxtail meals in all of NYC hands down. Just hop on over, order, and thank me later!

Cookerz Blend….10/10. My boyfriend was in charge of finding us a place and listen. We knew it’d be amazing. The owner and chef was the nicest ever. We both ordered a rum punch and were blown away. I have to say best one I’ve ever had. The festival and Mac and cheese- WOW! And the main event. The jerk chicken? Amazing. Please check them out. We have found a new spot.

Love it here! My husband and I have been twice since discovering it a month ago. The food is really good. We’ve tried the curry goat, curry chicken, jerk chicken, and stew chicken so far. My favorite dish has to be the jerk chicken plantain cups. We also tried the culture clash and the rum punch which were both great drinks.
The owner (Mo) is awesome, he’s such a friendly guy and we were engaged in conversation with him the whole time we were there on our first visit. He has great experiences to share if you have the time.

Food is good, but not quite as generous with the meat portions. The large dishes felt more like medium meat, large rice. Very light on the gravy. Not enough to keep up with the rice quantity. Very ginger/ herb forward. It’s not the flavor that bothers me, but the chunks of ginger and sprigs of herbs getting stuck in my teeth. Not very balanced. Things added up to make the experience less than average

The staff were cool and down to earth, make you feel welcomed. And the food, delicious!! We ordered the plantain cups with oxtail and the sauce was ‘lick your fingers’ good. And the meat was so tender. We also got the fish, jerk chicken, and the oxtail, also with rice and peas, steamed veggie, mac and cheese, fries…. The flavor for everything was so good! And the vibe was really nice. They have a bar and a DJ playing music, it’s a really great place to eat great Jamaican food in an awesome atmosphere.
