Overall: 3.5/5

Food: 3/5
– Tap water was sort of dirty, with visible flakes of something white floating on top.
– The Fritos Locos were pretty low effort (photo attached). They were pretty clearly frozen crinkle cut fries sloppily covered in ketchup, mayo, and some cheese. However, they were nicely cooked (reheated?) and ended up surprisingly tasty!
– The chicken in the Pollos con Tajadas was nicely seasoned but it either wasn’t fried long enough or the oil wasn’t hot enough- it was generally soggy. However, the fried plantains were delicious and the pink sauce was also good

Service: 4/5
Initial service was attentive and warm, and warned me that my Pollo con Tajadas would likely take up to 25 minutes, which I appreciated being warned about. I went with it anyways and it ended up coming out much sooner than that, perhaps explaining the sogginess. Given the sit-down nature of the restaurant, they would be well served to invest in some silverware, as the plastic fork I was given was pretty much useless carving up the bone-in chicken. They gave me a plastic knife after my request, which helped, but it was not quite up to the task.

Atmosphere: 3.5/5
Cute small family restaurant that’s authentic but older, and is transitioning towards having modern aspects. The floors and tables feel old fashioned and slightly dingy but the sign is new and the menus on TVs are updated and have nice graphics. The bathroom requires a key, but was in better shape than I was expecting.

My carne asada was tender, flavorful and juicy with perfectly seasoned rice. One of the owners was incredibly kind and went the extra mile to connect with us. Food was priced well and portions are generous.

I needed to do take-out but the vibe inside was festive and authentic. Plus, the take out utensils were solid and a generous amount of napkins given.

Everyone that works here is so nice and they had pupusa tacos which I’ve never heard of before. I love carne and them having a carne pupusa with frirjole con queso was just super creative and I absolutely will be back again

My Salvadoran girlfriend absolutely loved the pupusas as well

Enjoyed a Delicious and most importantly…Authentic Central American Dinner in a family friendly atmosphere (uncommon on most Hispanic restaurants). Staff was kind, friendly and patient. The Horchata was the real deal (not the pre-made stuff you get in other places). And of course the pupusas were on point! . My kids enjoyed the enchiladas salvadoreñas and the Papas locas so much as well. Definitely recommend and is my new spot for authentic Central American cuisine.

Great food, especially the tilapia combo dish. Alicia provided me with excellent customer service and allowed me to try out samples of their home-made tropical drinks; my favorite was Tamarindo!!!

The food is so good, it tastes like it’s made with love I ordered the shrimp with tajadas, pollo con tajadas, and pupusas. Sooooo good, and the horchata was delicious. The pupusas are by far the best I’ve had in this area, and the guy at the front desk was very kind. You have to try this place it is a little hidden but their food and prices are good
