I ordered food to go from Brotherly Love, but wish I had known it was so cool inside and I would have eaten there and stayed for a drink or two! As a Philadelphian, many places outside of PA say that they have a good cheesesteak, but many do. Brotherly Love, on the other hand, really does have the closest thing to a true Philly cheesesteak. I got the junior with wiz, and it came on an Amoroso roll! I was shocked, I haven’t seen amoroso rolls outside of the Philly area before. The bread was great, the meat was great and the wiz was exactly what I needed. Sorry to all the other Philly cheesesteak places in Nashville – this one is the only good one!

This place isn’t close to home for me, but I had heard good things about them. So, once we were in the general area of them, we had to check them out.
We were NOT disappointed!!!
This was one of the BEST cheesesteaks in the mid-TN area! It is probably good that they aren’t closer to me, because I would be eating here EVERY WEEK!!!
I got the Big Bro with Wiz, mushrooms, and jalapenos. My wife got the Big Bro with provolone. Our kiddo got the kids cheeseburger.
Everything was delicious! So GOOD!!

Stopped by for lunch – the loaded fries are amazing! The philly cheesesteak is solid. Very generous portion of meat. The vibe is chill. Indoor and outdoor seating. Would highly recommend it.

This Cheesesteak was hands down the best one i’ve ever had. I got the Big Bro Combo w/Steak, Whiz Sauce, Peppers, Mushrooms, and Grilled Onions. I have to say it’s on the more expensive side for a single meal($23) but it was extremely hot and delicious. One cool thing i liked is you can watch them cook it through the windows. Great environment(lots of TV options, Sports mainly) Definitely recommend

I go to any hoagie shop in the Philadelphia region and a get a steak with the same general expectation. This place apparently loves to drench on the cheese so be careful on the cheese request. Second the steak was not cut up finely, it was more like a Mexican taco style flank steak cut, with dry jerky like pieces I had to spit out. It’s supposed to be cut up fine with the spatula. Anyone outside of Philly seems to think they’re making a roast beef sandwich. The bun was good and I’m glad they had Cooper cheese, just didn’t expect it to be drowned in it. Would’ve been nice to find a cheesesteak place outside Philly I could return to, but this place ain’t it.
Would I go back? No.
Send your chefs to Philly just once and learn how to make a steak. Don’t try to rep it and fail.
