At our Jonesboro, AR location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Ordered online arrived at my designated time but still had to wait at the drive-thru window. White fish & shrimp barely seasoned but tasted okay. Sides & bread stick were good. Problem was the “bed of rice”. The rice was not under- cooked but was totally “not cooked”!!! Pieces that clinged to the fish nearly broke my teeth. They had over 45 minutes to prepare my order. The rice could have been cooked from scratch!!!

Encourage everybody to stay away from this place. This is by far the worst captain D’s that I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been to captain ds from Orlando fl to memphis tn. Tonight’s latest episode at this one, I asked for honey mustard for my three orders I placed. I had shrimp Fish fries. And I don’t eat any sauce on any of that, except for the honey mustard. So I asked for 8 to 10 packs. Keep in mind usually I have to pay for some. I’m absolutely Fine with that I was told tonight that I can’t have honey mustard. Not because they don’t have it, but because I didn’t order anything, they should get honey mustard. I politely told them to cancel the $35 order And then it was bull crap
I’ve had previous encounters With having to wait over 45 minutes in line on my food Getting the wrong orders Wrong sauces Flat soda And always horrible attitude. They need to fire everyone at this location and restart And retrain

Got some mystery object burned into the coating of my fish, the shrimp were under cooked and stuck together in a sort of shrimp dough log, the okra was literally dripping with grease and the fries were limp & under cooked. On top of all that, I asked the cashier for tartar sauce and told him no thank you on the cocktail sauce. I received 3 cocktail sauces and no tartar sauce. I spent almost $20 on that meal, which is pretty over priced for a single meal and drink. I feel like I was robbed.

I made the mistake of returning to this establishment because my mother, who is currently hospitalized loves fish. Once again I am left feeling robbed by this business. They did not give me the shrimp I ordered. When I delivered the food to my mother and realized they’d done it again I called and spoke to a woman who stated she was the manager on duty but would not give her name who stated that she could not refund my money because I paid with a debit card. She stated all she could do was give me the shrimp if I drove back and picked it up. To the owner of this business, your employees are stealing from customers and I want my money back.

Went through the drive through. Waited 20 minutes for our food. 10 piece family meal $35 was not cooked enough and the batter wasn’t up to Captain Ds standards. Really disappointed with the food. So sad we love Captain Ds but we won’t be returning..

Ordered a 2 – 3 piece meal on the app. Got home with it and it was a 2 piece, called and wanted to know if I wanted to come back and I told her I wasn’t driving 7 miles for 2 pieces of fish. Instead of refunding the difference, she said next time I was in town I could come get my 2 pieces. NOT

Food too salty. No condiments. Did not get drink cups, had to get back in line pay for drinks and then wait for cups. Staff not friendly. Did not get 1 of the sides we ordered. Will NEVER go back there again.

We ordered the family feast! We got the wrong fish
We didn’t get our shrimp the fries were old and the hush puppies were OK! We usually eat there at least once a week but I won’t be back! They only gave us 2 tarter sauce for 12 pieces of fish! It was ok because the fish didn’t taste good at all! The crab cakes were good!

I ordered my traditional fish and fries the other day. It is still as good as it always is. But, they have a new D’s dipping sauce, which tastes like a combination of tartar sauce and something. I can’t tell exactly what it is. But, it’s GOOD! Try it for yourself.
