Don’t come here! I ordered General Tso’s chicken and they gave me cold rubbery orange chicken instead. The pork fried rice is really salty and the egg roll is raw in the middle! I was so excited to eat here because of the name but it was a huge disappointment. I’ll never come here again.

Have been coming here off and on for years. Had a craving for the steamed pork dumplings. Placed a carryout order and was told it would take about 15 minutes.

I ordered the dumplings and the pork lo mein lunch special with wonton soup. My husband ordered the General Tso’s lunch special with hot and sour soup. Both with pork fried rice. They were really good and fresh. And we requested them with no onions and they were made to order.

Portions are big for lunch specials so that’s the perfect time to go.

Very sad. Have been ordering from this location for years. Last 2 orders have been smaller, poorly seasoned and more expensive. For 3 combination dinners I received 3 mustard packets, 2 soy sauce packets and 2 duck sauce packets. No fortune cookies. General Tso chicken ordered medium came with no seasoning whatsoever. Lots of crispy breading containing almost no chicken. Big fail. 2 other dishes totally bland. Soup is still good. Also, I sent someone unfamiliar with Vegas to pick up the order so they used GPS to find the location. According to the website, the restaurant is 2.9 miles ( door to door)away and I have been charged $3 extra for delivery being more than 3 miles away from the restaurant for years. Really?? I’m disabled and used delivery a lot. Won’t be returning. Very disappointed on many levels. Goodbye New York Chinese, and yes, I am from New York.

The food is definitely not NY Chinese style. Flavor is way off I felt violated and robbed after my experience. They do have duck sauce tho.

If you’re searching for delicious, classic American-Chinese food that’s served fast and always fresh, New York Chinese Restaurant is a local gem in Las Vegas.

The menu features flavorful favorites like crispy egg rolls, savory pork fried rice, and hearty Mongolian beef—always generous in portion and popping with taste.

Orders come out super speedy, making it an ideal pick for both a quick lunch and a satisfying dinner. The prices are reasonable, giving you great value without skimping on quality or quantity.

Best of all, there’s no pressure on tipping—service is friendly, but the experience is refreshingly low-key. Whether dining in, grabbing takeout, or getting delivery, it’s easy to enjoy a tasty meal here without breaking the bank or feeling rushed.

Highly recommend for anyone craving comfort food, fast service, and a stress-free dining vibe.

Called and asked how much a simple chicken wing and rice combo is. Apparently, they only sell 8 piece wings and rice separately. Tired of every Vegas restaurant trying milk every dollar they can from you. This restaurant should be called “Las Vegas Chinese Restaurant” because at any Chinese restaurant in New York, I can easily order a fried wing and rice combo for $12. Nothing about Vegas food will ever compare to New York.

I’ve had General Tso chicken from 9 different take out places in the last month trying to find my new spot. This was the best chicken and fried rice yet. I also had a 25minute drive home before I even ate it!
I also ordered Egg rolls. They tasted good, just wish they were bigger. Flavor was on point.

This is by far the best Chinese food in town, and the family that runs it is incredibly kind! Love this place! Highly recommend

Called ahead and ordered a take out dinner. I had the pork with mushroom And my husband had the general tso and we split an order of crab ragoons. It was a total of $35. In my opinion it wasn’t worth the money. The portions were huge but the food itself was very bland and didn’t have a lot of flavor to it. The food was hot and fresh. The ragoons were the best thing out of our whole dinner It took forever to get their attention when we got there and then was told it still wasn’t ready when they said it would be in twenty minutes so we waited an additional 10 minutes. I wouldn’t go back.

Place use to be decent. Not sure what happened but food has no flavor. You don’t even get utensils, sauce or a napkin with your TO GO order, yet just like everywhere else, tip is expected
