By the way, Great customer service!
Will definitely be stopping in again.
Food came in quick and in big portions, tasty but I’d say they can still improve. The frozen yogurt’s sour w/c outweighs the sweet taste of the baklava. I didn’t finish it! The rice pilaf is not that yummy compared to the other Greek restos I’ve tried.
The staff seemed stiff, I don’t know if they’re new or what but, they need to be more customer-oriented.
When I arrived at my parents, we were missing the side of hummus. So, I drove back to the restaurant to pick up the missed item. The drive there and back was a waste of 25 minutes, not counting the original trip there to order. I walked in and said,”I was not given my side of hummus.” The gal gave me a side of hummus. What I did not know when I ordered the side of hummus, was that it was only a tiny little ketchup container size of hummus. So I drove back for a mouse sized container of hummus. It would have been nice to be told when I ordered that the side of hummus, was not an amount to match the side of pita bread. There wasn’t an even an apology for the inconvenience. By the time I arrived back to eat my food, it was cold of course. Also, the extra side of pita bread that I had ordered(to go with what I thought was a side of hummus that was not enough to match the side of pita) was also cold and hard. The lack of care by the staff for their mistake is not acceptable. It was not busy and a mistake like that should not have happened and the staff needs to take responsibility for their mistakes.
I noticed this place while dining at a restaurant close to it. The first time we visited, we ordered the gyro and it did not disappoint. It did have a different sauce on it than the usual tzatziki, but it was still good.
O we came back for a second time and ordered the gyro plate and salad. The plate was even better. The rice was a very pleasant surprise! Add the slightly crunchy pita bread, and that rounded out a great meal.
Now the salad could have had more dressing, but it was still a good diversion from the gyro plate. I liked the appearance of the place and the quick service. Adding everything together, they’ll see me again soon.
Nick the Greek fits somewhere in between The Kabob House & Daphne’s.
They offer a good range of foods from fries, plate combos, gyros to salads.
Now onto the food.
On this particular visit I tried the Lamb Plate and wifey had the Lamb Gyro and both were delicious.
The food was on the pricier side but what’s not expensive nowadays with inflation going up the roof!
Inside is very spacious and seats at least 40-50 customers and about 20-30 people outdoors.
The cashier and servers were very polite. Food was ready quite fast taking in consideration how many people were dining in.
Overall a great experience and will definitely be back.
