Ive gone to Taco del Mar a bunch of times, and its delish every time. What blew me away is their catering. They are very thoughtful with their catering, brought everything we could possibly need and then some. Plus the food is just as delicious as in the restaurant. Highly recommend the restaurant and the catering.

Never been a huge fan of his place until I tried their signature . Super delicious. Came by 15 minutes before closing. Noticed they were cleaning up a little so I was a little hesitant to go in. I DID ANYWAY. The service was great. Super nice job with customer service. Makes it easy to make this my new go to spot. Thanks for making my family dinner.

Excellent establishment to dine at. The owner is attentive and friendly and typically always on site. One of the only places where you get great value for your money. Huge portions with fresh quality ingredients. Always exceeds my expectations.

We visited the location for dinner. Some of us wanted Tex-mex, some wanted something else, but we obviously all wanted to sit together. So we decided to order our own food and eat at an establishment close by.
When we were done, one of my daughters had some used napkins in her hand, so I told her to just go into Taco Del Mar and throw it out there – we were closer to their doors by this time. She did so, but as she was leaving, the older female worker started giving her a hard time about using their garbage. The lady even came outside and started yelling at me. I told her we were just throwing away garbage; since we were customers I thought it would be ok.
To prevent it from escalating further, I walked away and proceeded to get my family into our vehicle.
The lady continued to yell about having cameras and then went back inside. Was it over? Nope! She came back out with used napkins – I’m guessing she went into the garbage bin to look for what my daughter threw away – proceeded to yell that the garbage was labeled with their neighbor’s brands, and then she threw the garbage on my hood!
The gentleman in the vehicle next to ours must have seen the whole thing and was probably an employee of the neighboring establishment. He got out of his vehicle, took the garbage off our hood, waved and chuckled at us, and was kind enough to throw it away in his restaurant.
I hope the Taco Del Mar owners see this, and post the video from their camera so we can all see how it went down.
Objectively, food was alright, but service was horrendous.
If you’ve got some free time and want to potentially experience a live berating of customers, maybe come here, park your car out front and wait for some fireworks to start. If you’re hungry, grab some wings from next door.

A very disappointing quick visit. The lunch manager was kind of rude and made me feel unwelcome. There are many other restaurants in this strip mall. I would try elsewhere, like the nearby Panera Bread. Maybe in other countries being brusque with public clientele works, but in NW Washington it turns people off. I am sad to have to write this review.
