Saturday morning and the breakfast buffet had a decent variety but it was warm not even hot. Our waiter never returned to bring us coffee refills. We intentionally cleaned up the table because the waiter hardly made his rounds. To top it off the milk on the hot chocolate was spoiled. We aren’t interested in going back. There’s plenty of other restaurants that want my business.

Great selections and lots of variations of Mexican cuisine. The staff was very attentive and looked after our drinks very often. Would highly recommend for family meals as the menu is very kid friendly. Prices are average when compared to other similar restaurants in the area. Overall a great experience.

We went for the Saturday breakfast buffet. The food was just OK, but what made this a one star experience was the service. With four waitresses, we ended up waiting more than 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Waitresses would pass by to attend other customers and then sneak behind the bar to chit-chat. Avoid this place. For good breakfast buffet try Luby’s or Golden Corral.

Great place to eat lunch. Prices are super reasonable. Food is home cooked and always so good. Plus, the buffet always has great options in small batches for freshness along with healthy options such as veggies and fruit as well as desserts. I travel for work up and down the Valley, so whenever I’m in Harlingen, I never miss having a meal here!

I enjoy the food here. It has good choices for lunch as well as the buffet. You get a complimentary tea if you get a lunch special. They also have a buffet for breakfast. I tried it and didn’t like it. Coffee is also complimentary but I ended up paying for it and an extra tortilla. My server did not let me know of it either. I will only return for lunch.

Being first time customers to this restaurant wanted to try it out. Well as we were looking through the menu we had order our drinks first. My wife was pouring her sprite/beverage into the plastic glass as she was pouring the drink into the glass along with it came a roach. Never will go back experience/disgusted. Restaurant is to dark.

Really nice Mexican breakfast buffet. Waitress very friendly. Seniors price 4.99 and there is a girl there that will make you eggs anyway you want them. This is our second visit and we will be back.

The food is excellent and your green sause too, but the restaurant is being runned by waitresses that are lazy and untrained to be courteous and professional to their patrons, anging out behind the counter chit chatting instead of being where the money is.
I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 10 years and I’ve never seen waitstaff so laud yelling from one side of the dining area to the other, the other waitress rushing a customer next to me plainly asking if he was ready for the check instead of offering dessert. Parking lot not very promising since it was almost empty at 9:30 am when it should be the breakfast rush. Their breakfast buffet looked dry like it’d been there for a while. I really hope the owner reads these reviews, this is constructive criticism for improvements and much room to do so, I also notice other patrons have the same complaint. Restaurants live off their customers I hope you get this sir or madam. My suggestion go to your competition like “blanquitas” they are pretty good and see their parking area at 9:30 am on both locations.

To start off, I would like to clarify that they do NOT serve alcohol. Secondly, our waitress was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. I have had years experience working in the food industry in the past, and if my coworkers and I spoke to our guests the way she spoke to us, we would have definitely gotten a talking to. I DO NOT RECCOMEND.

The food comes out quick, and they recently added a buffet option and it’s the best thing ever. They have this soup that’s like an appetizer and it’s soooo good! The staff is always on top of everything. Sorta a small place , but works well with everything.
