If you get your pizza from any nationwide franchise place instead of Papa’s Pizza, do you even know anything about pizza? When you enter, staff are warm and inviting, while still being chill. Pizza by the slice any time is fabulous or if you got a crew or are a chunky kid like me get a 14” or 18″ Celebrity Pizza, or take charge and Build Your Own. There are a few beers on tap, cuz you know, pizza & beer. They also have a few wines, in case you eat your pizza with your pinky up.
Skip that corporate doo and get this slice in your belly.

I called ahead for our pizza just incase. Everything about this place was great, the customer service really stood out to us. Super friendly staff that made you feel like family. They kept calling me by my first name when serving us. The pizza of course was awesome, as well as the beer on tap. Very happy, they also had the Christmas decor up and music playing.

Every town has one great pizza place that people talk about. There are several in Pensacola, but this in my opinion is one of the best. I know for a fact that this establishment uses only the best ingredients in their pizzas. I actually met with the founder of these pizzerias years ago, and he told me about the ingredients that he used, and that they were top shelf, absolutely the best. My pizza had a phenomenal crispy bottom it was cooked perfectly and tasted outstanding! I have had many pizzas over the years, and actually pizza is one of my favorite foods. If you haven’t been to this pizzeria, you owe it to yourself to stop in. Do not confuse it with any other pizzeria with the same name. This establishment on Garden Street stands alone, and this review is only for this location.

Ok..you want a no bend, thin, crunchy and very tasty pizza, this is the place. Slices are a tad on the small size but the pack a much in quality. Love this place. I wish there was more space and bigger seats. Im no where near fat and neither is my 5 ft tall wife and I was on the edge of my seat with one leg in the isle. Uther than that, this place is great. My go to spot when I want crunchy pizza.

Went here with the wife. We like VERY different things on our pizza, and usually have to order individual pizzas. The manager (owner?) challenged us to order one pizza with chosen things split down the middle. She took the order as requested, and the pizza guys nailed it. Came out just as ordered (even without cheese on one side), cooked perfectly with a crisp yet chewy crust. A proper NY pizza in the heart of Pensacola. Will definitely visit again. Alcohol selection is extremely limited, but available. Not much room to increase selection, but I’d throw a cheap beer on tap for pitchers (pbr?). Seating is very limited so skip main meal times.

I visited this pizza place downtown on a Sunday after running some errands, and I’m glad I finally found it! The staff here are incredibly friendly, and I loved that you can watch the entire pizza-making process, from dough preparation to baking. I ordered the 18-inch “The Frank Sinatra,” and it was clear that the chefs are very skilled at making authentic American-style pizza. My only minor complaint is that the pizza was a bit too salty for my family’s taste. Overall, though, a great experience!

This is authentic NY style pizza, hands down. Passed the crust test, perfect thickness and taste. Best pizza in Pensacola. Reminds me of pizza joints back home in Philly. Service was phenomenal. Will DEFINITELY be back!

I’m a big fan of pizza, and Pensacola is a dead zone for good pizza… until I found Papa’s Pizza. If you like a solid NY-style pizza, this is the spot! I always request it well-done, and they nail the perfect crisp, every time! This is easily the best pizza in Pensacola! I’ve heard folks say Sky Pizza, but they’re crust is too floppy. And Graffiti is more for a drunken night. If you’re looking for a solid pizza all-around, Papa’s pizza is it! The ONLY downfall I have to say… is the price. Just be ready for your wallet to take a hit. $26 for an 18″ is insane. It’s more of a monthly treat pizza, rather than a weekly hit-up spot, solely because of the price.

Came for some pizza on March 23,2024 for the first time and as a New Yorker I’ll say that’s pretty close to the real thing and was pretty tasty. The thing that kinda kills this review is pizza is pizza at the end of the day and if you want to pay over $4 for a single slice of pizza this is your place to go. being from NYC slices are $1-2 for top notch pizza, and while yes this pizza is good it’s not the best I’ve ever had but hey that’s business.
