Big Water Grille is a nice restaurant just south of the local ski resort. The service was great and personal. The food was also very good. I loved the sea bass, it was light and melted in my mouth. It is great to watch the sunset over Lake Tahoe from here while sipping on a cocktail and enjoying the laid back environment. I’m sure it will get a lot more lively during the busy seasons, but I was there during the town’s slow season and it was amazing.

The food was deliciously delicious! Each dish has their own satisfying flavors and texture to it. The ahi tuna was fresh, cold, creamy and the sauce was rich and savory. It’s paired with fresh, crispy, lightly breaded chips. Very refreshing. The Korean cauliflower didn’t taste like cauliflower at all. The sweet savory seasoning really upgraded the vegetable! Mmmmm the corn dip with the crispy chips was served cold. It’s also cream and rich and kept on wanting more. The pork belly was a little over cooked…took a while to cut the meat. On the flip side, I enjoy the caramelized flavor of it. The scallops were fresh and juicy and I love the side dish it’s served with it. Pork chop was cooked perfectly! Inside was very moist, well seasoned and I absolutely live the flavors. The steak was also seasoned perfectly and cooked to the customers desired. Our waitress, Jordan was amazing!!! The view to Lake Tahoe was spectacular!!!

My husband and I went here during our Honeymoon in Lake Tahoe. We had terrific meal, terrific service and even went back the next day to round out our trip! The wine choices were wonderful, The Poke appetizer was delicious, scallops were cooked perfectly and their burger was also a staple choice. My husband enjoyed his manhattan and the dessert was the cherry on top! We will definitely be dining here anytime we are in Tahoe and we greatly appreciated Adrienne’s hospitality as our server both nights! Well worth the cost to get a very good meal.

We had dinner here last night. Both were good meals but not exceptional. The Korean Fried Califlower appetizer was one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had! A nice place to eat with a great view.

On 2/14/2026, my husband, son, and I stopped for drinks; We informed the staff we had already eaten ( since we couldn’t make a reservation ) and were referred to the bartender on duty. I approached the bartender and explained that we had already dined elsewhere due to the unavailability of a table, but would like to have a couple of drinks before retiring to our townhouse. The bartender requested a couple of minutes, after which we stood for 15 minutes, observing numerous empty spaces at the bar(10 we saw) The bartender failed to acknowledge us, despite passing by multiple times. I attribute this oversight to the manager, who was present and walked around us multiple times!!!!! but did not inquire about our wait. We end up leaving

Bad experience overall. Servers are nice, but the food is pretty bad. Ordered the burger. For $30+ you expect quality. I ordered medium rare, but it came medium well, at best. The “house made” patty was dry and flavorless. The fries were cold and hard, and we had to wait 20 minutes in between appetizers and main courses, even though the place was half empty. Also ordered the “miso” glazed sea bass, that, true to form was flavorless, with some “miso” broth that had no taste and some sad boiled vegetables. The fish was nicely cooked though. We didn’t even bother with desert. For all the great places in Incline Village, definitely will never stop here again!

We very much enjoyed our dinner. The Korean cauliflower was fabulous as was the pork chop. Actually the pork ‘chop’ was more like a pork loin. I’ve got enough left for a couple more meals. Fabulous. Loved the views of the forest with some view of the lake.

Really great! Service was excellent. Food was delicious. There was music, but it wasn’t too loud, which I always appreciate! We had the Alaskan Halibut in a coconut sauce and the Salmon with wild mushrooms for dinner. Aps, we had the seafood something that was in this yogurt sauce. So good! What a great date night! The pictures are of our food and a cheesecake to go for the kids. And the view from the balcony.

My boyfriend and I stopped by Big Water Grille to ask about a gift card we had ordered about a month ago. The manager, Chris, went above and beyond to help us! He immediately replaced the card on the spot and was incredibly kind and professional throughout the whole interaction. We decided to stay for a drink afterward and took in the cozy ambiance by the fireplace. Between the setting and Chris’s warmth, it truly made our visit special! We left feeling so grateful for how caring and attentive he was. Thank you, Chris, for turning a small issue into such a positive experience! We cannot wait to come back!
