We come here often with the family and for adult dates, it’s always a great experience. The food, drinks, and staff are consistently good, and the service has never disappointed. They offer a military discount, which is appreciated and the drink specials are solid. A picture of margarita is $18.99! It’s also a great spot to watch the Jags game. Definitely a reliable go-to for good food and a laid-back vibe.

Our family had a great experience visiting this restaurant for the first time. The food was good and it was very family friendly but all the adults in the building w/o kids seem to be enjoying themselves. They have 2 for 1 margaritas and nice “Jags Game” specials. The food was good, the drinks were strong and the service was great. We will be back!

If you want truly authentic Mexican food, you gotta come here! I grew up just 100 miles north of Tijuana, Mexico. Jacksonville has been a disappointment time and time again with the “it’s covered in cheese sauce, so it must be Mexican food” flair. I stumbled back into Cinco de Mayo for an early dinner and was created warmly by the new owner Denny, I ordered the Carnitas plate and it was prepared to perfection with the perfect balance of crispy edges around a soft and juicy bite. Paired with beans and rice that are as authentic as as it gets. Then came desert. Can I just say that I have not been blessed with Tres leches cake like this since I was a kid! The cake was not sugary sweet and smoothered with some fake interpretation of the classic dessert. It was presented with the tight amount of real whipped cream on a plate with the sweet milk pooling at the sides. Lightly sprinkled with cinnamon and topped with a cherry.

I eat here quite often. I actually really like the food. But I have never been there and they did not mess up my to go order. This enchilada dinner. It’s supposed to have three enchiladas. It has two. Very clearly on the phone. I told her I want two beef and one chicken. This is a enchiladas Verde. Really good food but they need to fix this problem because it happens every single time we order.

We’ve discovered our new go-to Mexican restaurant after having a great experience here! The customer service was extremely fast and very personable. We were greeted right away and were well taken care of throughout our visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Also, the house margarita was one of the best I’ve had, ever! Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to on a regular basis.

Danny was absolutely amazing. I’m already a big fan of Cinco de Mayo, but this particular location has become hands-down the best in the city since Danny’s taken over. The food was on point, the service was top-tier, and the atmosphere was exactly what you want. The two-for-one margaritas were incredible, and unlike other locations, they let you mix all the flavors instead of limiting you to the base mix—and they’re not frozen. You can tell he genuinely cares about the experience. Highly recommend—this place is doing it right.

Went here last night with a friend. The staff was nice and when we went they offered $10 for their Burrito California (which is typically ~$15) as a Wednesday deal.
My friend got tacos, and he enjoyed them. My Burrito had a generous portion and was really good.
I had also gotten the flan, which was easily shareable.
