Soft sub roll, freshly sliced meats and the best dressings in the world! Don’t want a sub? Go for “My Wife’s Salad” with a base of salad greens topped with delicious meats, chunks of cheese and an array of vegetables . There are three Grouchos I frequent depending on where I am on a given day and they all have great service from polite, friendly and attentive staff. Even at the busiest times, my order arrives quickly. Ya gotta try Grouchos locally famous, Slap-yo- momma awesome Formula 45! I’ve been trying for years to make it at home but I’ve never replicated it to my satisfaction. I’ve never been a fan of delis in general but obviously, I’m a huge fan of Grouchos. Like all the other locations, the Canden location is always clean with attentive staff and great food.

We visited Groucho’s Deli on a weekday around 1 pm. It was quite busy but we immediately found a seat. Our orders were taken quickly, and we were served just as fast. Everything was delicious. Our server checked on us multiple times. This was the second Groucho’s we visited, and both were amazing.

I usually take the drive to Columbia, but sadly I was too lazy to go the distance today and do I ever regret it. In Columbia I get the my wife’s salad and it’s enough for 2 people and left overs, but at the Camden location, I was barely given enough to fill me, let alone another person. I hate taking my money out of our county, but I’m sorry, the service and portions are so much better in columbia. I hope they improve or shutdown

This was my first time and I was not impressed. However tasty the sandwich was the presentation left much to be desired. I would have been just as satisfied getting a sandwich at the substation. I will give them another chance but I’m not in a rush to go back. They didn’t even give me a whole sandwich they gave me half a sandwich are you kidding me?

We love Groucho’s and always stop by when traveling around the state! Disappointed how much smaller the portion size is here for the STP compared to everywhere else. My husband has had it three times at this location and each time it’s getting smaller and smaller.
Edit: We decided to come back a few months later and the portions still haven’t changed to match the other restaurants in the state. Photo attached for what we received.
