If I could rate this place a ZERO, I would x 2. We have been here 3 times in the last year. It’s a close drive, and kept hoping it was just a bad night. We’ve now decided we will never return. The owner/bartender is more concerned with selling pull tabs than actual service of drinks & food – which should always be first. The food is mediocre, at best, not worth even a third of what they are charging. The wait staff is less than attentive, actually worse than any place we’ve patroned. Do yourself a favor and hit the local McDonald’s – at least the service is better.

The food you used to be just awesome here, it’s not anymore. Most people are pretty patient, but having to wait 15 minutes to get a beer, while the owners tend to whoever wants to play pull tabs first, gets pretty old. The food used to make everything worth weight, not anymore. I would suggest going elsewhere.

My daughter and her boyfriend just moved down this way from northern MN. She picked this place for a Friday night supper. As soon as we stepped in the door, it felt very friendly and had a great atmosphere! They had a meat raffle going on, a volleyball pit out back, I saw advertising for Bingo night and there was an outdoor patio that we had an amazing dinner.
The food was delicious! The Philly was outstanding, as well as the Montana Melt, and my Ruben was so amazing! It sure made this Northern MN mama feel like I am leaving my Young adults in good hands. Thank you Dugout Bar and Grill!!

I didn’t like the plastic green
basket’s they serve hot food in, or the plastic plates. They do have glass plates, you just have to ask. I’m super picky. Other restaurants changed to metal baskets. And don’t sit too close to the florescent party decor lights on the walls. I got kind of dizzy from that one night.
Otherwise cool joint.

Excellent Blues Band “Jimmy Famous and the Payback” on 9/8/18. Great burger, but had to order my own drink at the bar. Service needs improvement. The five stars is for the band and food. One star for service.
