Absolutely disgusting and potentially dangerous food! This was by far the worst takeaway we’ve had in a very long time!
We ordered from Mahi because we’d had good food from them in the past and their recent reviews were still positive. Unfortunately, this experience was shocking from start to finish.
As soon as we opened the order, the naan bread was burnt. The samosas were clearly shop-bought and deep brown, borderline burnt. When I bit into the grilled chicken, it tasted stale. I immediately spat it out. My husband experienced the same. Both the naan and chicken went straight in the bin.
The two curries were no better. On opening, they were literally swimming in excessive amounts of oil (see photos). The chicken methi was completely inedible. In the end, every item was thrown away.
My only concern now is that we don’t feel sick for the rest of the evening from the small amount we tasted. This level of food quality and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. I would strongly advise avoiding this place!

What a gorgeous meal was had, and company wasnt half bad. We took some friends and had starters and mains. The food was delicious and fresh. Our irish friends loved it. Cooked to their palates…. not too much chilli!! Really enjoyed it. Great night out.
Big selection of gins and beers and vodkas too as well as some non alcoholic drinks.
And after all that dessert went down a treat.

What can I say first time visit Mahi taste of Punjab absolutely brilliant, booked in Saturday night 4 people the host gave us a family room out of the away, excellent service.
Staff & food was bang on constantly asking if we needed anything food wise & drinks can’t fail anything at the moment had vegetarian but defiantly want to try the non-veg side.
A great selection of premium drinks up to 65 different spirits was impressed even had a preview behind the bar……!! keep it up see you soon

Was spoken to like a child and given a lecture for using a bathroom. I walked into the restaurant and asked a member of staff if i would be able to use their bathroom. I told that staff member i was also going to buy drinks. After being told this was fine by a female worker, I was waited for outside the bathroom and then physically blocked by the ‘manager’. He pointed his finger in my face and told me off for not “asking to use their bathroom”. I tried to leave after explaining to him that i was unsure why i was being given a telling off after doing no wrong to which he stood a
t the door and physically blocked me while other members of staff watched. As a visitor to the area i felt very unwelcome and i was very shocked that someone could treat anyone who was willing to be a customer in their restaurant and also just needed the bathroom like that.

Honestly my favorite Indian restaurant that I have been to since visiting England.
Super cleanly, good service, very modern, fancy, tasty, and the food came out very fast.
Love the Butter Chicken they serve with the Onion Kulcha (onion filled naan), and plain Basmati rice. They serve great chili wings as an appetizer too.
They’re modest about their spice levels. The mild and mediums are very tolerable. Not hot at all unless you really want it to be extremely spicy and ask for it to be that way.

This place is fantastic from start to finish. We celebrated my 7-year-old’s birthday here, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The wide selection of traditional Punjabi food is easily the best in the area. To top things off the all the restaurant sang Happy Birthday making it one to remember!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mahi in Northwood, and I must say that the prawns were absolutely to die for! The ambiance of the restaurant was also quite lovely, with a cozy and intimate atmosphere that made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure that we were well taken care of throughout our meal.

1st time here and overall was quite impressed.
All starters we had were delicious, but the “Crispy” Corn needs to be crispy. On the flip side, the Garlic Chilli Prawns was super delicious as was the Mushkaki, Kebabs, Jeera Chicken etc.
For the mains all was simply mouth-watering however the Egg Bhurji was more like scrambled eggs!
Service was excellent and the barman was quite knowledgeable. A very impressive Bar. Will surely be vising again soon to try more of the dishes on offer
