Place is awesome. Honest, tasty food at fair prices with good portions. Corporate sub shops have gotten so flavorless and bland, that when you find a place like Monty’s, its totally mind blowing! Ordered online and it was ready to go when we got there just 10 mins later. Dude at the counter was super nice and whipping together sandwiches like mad. Quality. Don’t let this place die, Springfield!

I stopped in on my way through town and I’m glad I did! I got the El Italiano toasted on french bread. It was absolutely delicious. The jalapeno chips I got were also very tasty. The guy behind the counter was very friendly as well. I definitely recommend stopping in.

No-nonsense, in-and-out service. Simple, easy-to-understand menu. Fresh-baked bread. Quality ingredients. Reasonable pricing (a lot more reasonable than Subway or Jimmy John’s, at any rate). Best subs I’ve had in a long time.
