Great pizza but even a better owner and staff! I messed up trying to put a $6.00 tip on an online order but ended up putting $600.00 (didn’t have my readers on) the staff alerted the mistake to me and the owner took care of it! Integrity and great pizza! Hard to find both these days

SIcilian pizza had a perfect crisp crust and soft layer between the crust and the cheese. Sauce had flavor. Onions sliced perfectly thin. This could easily become a favorite.. only thing I’d like to see is a slightly thicker crust and a little more cheese.

I got to try the buffalo chicken pinwheel at the Italian festival and it was delicious!! I am also super grateful for the man that served me the pinwheel. I asked if he could give me one with the least amount of blue cheese & he did not mind doing that and picked the perfect one! Can’t wait to have another one already!

Ordered 2 pizzas for take-out. Large Americana and the Honey Hot Americana. I have to say it was terrible. The recipe definitely changed and not for the good. I have been eating Davinci’s pizza since it changed from Sals, which was the best, to DaVinci. The original owners pizzas were very good but since it sold its is going downhill. The round America had no sauce and tasted like it just has slices of American cheese on a piece of cardboard. This pizza was tasteless. The square Hot Honey Americana was the same tasteless pizza, but with honey and cup pepperoni and no sauce. If it wasn’t for the Honey and pepperoni I wouldn’t have eaten it. It’s a shame they changed the recipe. Sadly I will not order from them again.

DaVinci once said, “Life without love, is no life at all” but if he could’ve tasted this Hot Honey Americano with Pepperoni he would have said a life without pizza, is no life at all. DaVinci Pizza was our first visit and it was great. The dough was fresh and the crust was crisp. The cheese was delicious and the glaze from the hot honey and cupped pepperoni will make your taste buds go wild. This pizza was a work of art.

Best food I’ve had in years! I’m new to the area and wanted to try something new and I was blown away by their cheese steak! Stromboli was cooked perfectly and they did not slip on the meats or toppings. I WILL be a returning customer in the near future! Definitely recommend trying them out! ❤️

Excellent service, ordered on a Saturday night and delivery was quick. I am from NEPA so naturally I try all the best American chz pizzas and this was by far the best I’ve had- seriously recommend their hot honey pepperoni!! I also got the pesto vodka marinara pizza and WOW. Both pizzas were unbelievable and crispy/hot all the best attributes of a pizza. Customer Service was awesome. I know where I will be a new regular at!

DaVinci Pizza on the Square in downtown Scranton, Pennsylvania, is a small pizzeria that can handle big appetites. WIth new owners taking over within the past year, the eatery not only features specialty pizzas, but also hot and cold subs, wings, and pasta salad.
I visited the place after work on a Friday afternoon, around 5:15. Although the tables in the back were empty, the staff was hard at work making pizzas for what appeared to be a constant flow of take-out customers.
I heard DaVinci was making Detroit-style pizza earlier in the day, so I was hoping to get a few cuts of the square pizza. I was lucky enough to grab the three remaining cuts and hastened toward the back, where I can enjoy my meal in peace. The pan crust was thick, crisp, chewy and airy. The cheese is nice and gooey, with the tomato sauce sitting on top. The cuts were big, and although I could have stopped at two, I couldn’t resist the great taste and dived into the third.
The eatery has approximately 10 tables in the back, with the front counter filled with different types of pizzas. One can then turn 180 degrees and grab a soft beverage while waiting. Being located next to the federal and county courthouses, as well as other downtown businesses, I wouldn’t be surprised if lunchtime is extremely busy. The staff is friendly and accommodating, with plenty of hustling and communication going on between them.
DaVinci also has daily specials featured on their Facebook page. Give this place a try, and you’ll see why cookie-cutter, national chains can’t hold a torch to northeastern Pennsylvania’s pizzerias.

Zero Stars…..How anyone actually likes this pizza is beyond me! Does anyone have tastebuds in PA? First time ordering, 8 cut mushroom and roni, antipasto salad and side of blue cheese. 85 minutes to get delivered. Pizza is bland and has no taste at all! Worst pizza I’ve ever had and was colder then my salad! Truly disgusting. Salad was hot because driver put in hot bag with pizza, got ranch instead of blue cheese with a clear “r” on it. Why put hoagie tomatoes sliced in a salad? Asked for a menu but didn’t get it, it’s ok though because we won’t be ordering again. Clearly they are not looking for new customers.

Before we returned to the hotel, made a drive-by for a quick Cut of pizza in the Scranton, Pennsylvania downtown across from the County Courthouse…
Kit had a Plain Cut and I had a Cut of Pepperoni with Hot Honey.
Depending on the location, like Pizza Joints elsewhere, sometimes it’s a whole pie and then some will have the Pizza Trays under glass and a Cut will be sold.
The slices here were good, but what I would call Football Style for a quick taste.
