My pregnant girlfriend was craving a late night snack not expecting the this pizza order to be a disaster. Everything about the pizza was terrible. The jalapeños from the picture was from just half of the pizza, making it difficult to even eat any more and taste any other flavor other than the jalapeños . There was barley any sauce on the pizza, the crust wasn’t cut properly, the topping on the slices fell off very easily, and last but not least the toppings i ordered on half of one side was all over the pizza so my girl didn’t want it !! Mind you i went and got the pizza FOR HER!! My whole night is ruined as to my girlfriend who was expecting a pizza and not jalapeños, with a side of pizza.

Lets be real about this. Papa Johns can’t be classified as great pizza, but if nothing else it’s extremely consistent. At least I thought so up until last nights dinner. Everything you remember about their original recipe is gone, adding to the under cooked and lacking a reasonable amount of toppings that I paid extra for on 2 pies. I had to go and check the recent reviews to see if I was the only one noticing the difference, I was not. Hopefully corporate steps up and tries to save this location before it puts itself out of business.

Generally no complaints at this location. However this visit was disappointing. Flavor and temperature of pizza and chicken were as expected and the order was ready on time. However, when ordering a large pepperoni pizza, the expectation is more than 7 slices of pepperoni. Two slices of pizza had none at all! Absolutely did not look like the pic of the item I ordered. I can only guess they were low on products or skimping on the amount of toppings to save money. We will think twice before ordering pizza at this location again, as this was underwhelming and not a good $18 value.

Never answers the phone and closed at 8pm on a Monday. Customers waiting out want to know what happened to there food. It’s completely dark in the store. They also canceled both my orders.

A 1-star is too good for this Deptford NJ location. It’s the worst!!! I ordered online delivery. When the driver arrived, I noted thru my video doorbell that I would be right there; I am handicapped & use a walker. I got to the door & the dog was barking as he wanted to see who was there as he loves people & likes to be pet. I was making the dog sit & the driver said “Can’t you hurry it up?” I looked at him & asked if he could not see that I was handicapped. I took the order and told him I was calling the store to complain about his attitude. He told me to keep my comments to myself and walked away. I called the store to report the incident & asked for a manager. He was just as rude, & wouldn’t even spell his name as I could not understand his accent. He refused & kept saying “tell me what you want as I’m busy”. He refused to tell me if it was a Corporate or Franchise store & hung up on me. To make matters worse, I opened our pizza & it was overcooked & dried out. It was also supposed to be half philly steak; there were barely 3 little pieces of steak on each slice. Most the the pizza went in the garbage disposal cause that’s what it was; Garbage! I will never order from this location again. Folks be smart, look at the reviews and order from somewhere else.

We decided to try Papa John’s again since it has been over 5 years or more since we had them. We placed our order online and received a text that food was ready. I went in to get my order and was told it’s not ready yet, even though the text said it was ready. The cashier said, it’s always a delay?? I ordered pizza, wings and chicken parmesan bites..The pizza is just not the same anymore and doesn’t have any taste,,,, kinda tastes like Chucky Cheese pizza! The buffalo wings we ordered had the sauce drizzled over them, not tossed in a bowl so that they are evenly coated..The food was just ok..It will probably be another 5 years or more before we try them again. The staff was very friendly though!

Pizza was made incorrectly and their “manager” tried to tell me otherwise as I’m looking at empty spots and barely enough cheese to cover the rest of the pie (I even ordered extra cheese!). This is EXACTLY why I don’t order pizza from chains, especially when there’s better local spots around.

Didn’t have chicken or anything else I ordered and refused to make it right on top decided to tell me I only have an option for refund or cheese pizza and no one is wearing uniform so you can’t even tell who’s an employee or what’s going on. Guy decided to go to back of store came up front and started making pizza didn’t wash his hands or anything he’s supposed to be the gm
I decided to give this place on the request of the district manager I went in to get my pizza and they told me they don’t have onions I said ok just throw jalapeño on it and as I was talking the guy he decided to start touching my cooked pizza with his bare hands and starts popping bubbles lol they thought I was crazy for asking for a new pizza and I called corporate and guess what they just transferred me to store and they hung up on me this whole company needs to be shut down. Idk what the township or county food inspector is doing but this store needs a shut down
Update: 8 months later gave this place a try bc i had guests for eagles game and ordered a large jalapeño pizza and got a pizza with 7 slices of jalapeños to be exact lol on top of that the delivery driver didn’t have change im so confused as to how this store is still open. Whooptie doooo me I guess
