Food ready on time, large portions and reasonable prices. Got takeout many times and has always been great. Will definately be back. Only downsides small indoor dining, some communication difficulty.

They seemed popular for take out orders. 2 tables for dining. Open and clean. My thin rice noodles Chow Fun was light and easy to eat. Good flavor. Vegetables tucked under the noodles. Lots of food.

We need a Chinese restaurant like this in Iowa! It was small inside but clean and the staff was so friendly. I got the General Tso chicken that came with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. The General Tso actually had a kick to it, and the rest so absolutely delicious!!! Their sweet and sour sauce was amazing! It was one of those meals where you got full but didn’t want to stop eating because it was so good! I would 100% stop any time I go through Prairie Du Chien!

40 years since I enjoyed Egg Foo Yung like this. (I distinctly remember because I was in Michigan.)
Three huge patties with shrimp, green onion, etc. It came with a rich brown gravy, that I personally toned down by adding soy sauce.
The eight (yes, 8!) crab Rangoon were great as well. Egg rolls are also good there.
I have also ordered the honey chicken & the Human beef.
These folks work hard and provide a better variety AND quality ethnic meal than all of La Crosse.

Places like this are a treasure. Enjoy then while they exist because one day they will all be gone. Their children are not going to want to work this hard for $7 lunch plates and they’re quickly disappearing. This place seems to have a nice mix of American deep fryer Chinese and more legit Chinese. For the food you get they could easily charge more. Don’t take it for granted. Hot take, skip the lunch menu and order one of the soups. They’re very good.

Mu shu nirvana. Had a wonder plate of mu shu vegetable that was out of this world! Tangy sauce coating the crisp variety of vegetables served up with hoisin sauce a four mandarin pancakes. (Think Asian tortilla.) it was delicious, affordable and better than many I’ve paid twice as much for and received ½ as much.
Please check this hidden gem out when you’re in PdC. Don’t forget to order the subtly sumptuous Hot and Sour Soup and hot tender and crisp spring rolls! Two thumbs up! 5 Stars!!!! Thank you to the China Cafe!

I love love this place man they got the best chick on a stick and white rice I’ve ever had I stopped at this place every single night after work and I’ll tell you I don’t just stop in for the chicken oh God the woman behind the counter is so beautiful man oh my God but anyways good price lots of food friendly atmosphere very clean you can watch him cook your food The taste is great never had a problem very fast efficient I’m definitely going back when I go back to prairie du chien it is a five-star tiny tiny restaurant but very good food

Pretty much the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Large portions and alot cheaper then my hometown Chinese restaurant. Nice online ordering. Food was ready in about 10 minute. Will definitely be going here again and again. 8 very good crabmeat rangoons for $6, unheard of.
