Love for this newly opened Vietnamese baguette spot! The bánh mì is outstanding—crispy, crackly bread with a light chew, generously packed with savory grilled pork, bright pickled veggies, fresh cilantro, and a punchy smear of pâté and mayo. Each bite balances umami, sweetness, acidity, and heat well. The space is calm and chill
Great flavors, great value, effortlessly chill vibe. Will defly come again!

You can eat inside or outside.I recommend you try every sandwich because they are all jumping with flavor.Plus the employees are exceptionally professional and efficient.Over all if I could give them a 10 star review and give everyone a sample of their Chicken Sandwiches with an Ice cold coffee,I would. Definitely worth the go and every dollar.

Crispy bread. Juicy pork. Chinatown win.
Saigon Surf is doing it right. It’s a daytime takeover inside the Shinsen space on Bowery. Vietnamese until 5, Japanese after. No drama, no confusion. Just walk in, order your banh mi, and let them do their thing.
I had the grilled pork and it delivered. Perfectly toasted bread, actual crunch. Pork was flavorful, not dry. Pickles, cilantro, mayo, all balanced. You can tell they care about how it comes together. The watermelon slushie is good too!
Prices are solid. You’re in and out quick. And for anyone who’s picky about their banh mi, this place clears.

I swung by for a quick bite and got their classic pork banh mi – the bread was super crispy, and the grilled pork with pickled veggies and a little chili heat was on point. Grabbed an iced Vietnamese coffee too, and it was smooth, not overly sweet, just how I like it. The spot on Bowery has this cool, laid-back vibe with some sidewalk seats, and the staff were super nice. Only $12 in NYC? Total steal! Already dying to come back for more flavors

Love this new place. Staff was extremely nice and friendly I waited 30 seconds and hit a seat right away. I ordered the special set and got a vietnamese iced coffee for basically 3 dollars. I’m now obsessed with the chicken banh mi. Going back tomorrow!

Got a the grilled pork chop sandwich and a Vietnamese ice coffee. The bread was perfectly toasted and the sandwich was delicious and really large. I got to sit outside or inside while I waited at their tables and they have a bathroom. Their employees were very nice as well.
