Customer service matters. As the customer, I made the mistake of not removing two types of pepperoni (original and cupped pepperoni) on the amazing charcotta pizza that I’ve ordered numerous times since the pizza first launched a few years back. I’m pescatarian, so I remove pork pepperoni and replace it with vegan pepperoni. I’ve done this numerous times with no issues. Tonight, however, when I got home with my takeout order, it had both the vegan pepperoni and the cup pepperoni (meat). When I called, I was told it was made the way it was ordered. I asked if there were anyway it could be remade without meat as this was a gross error and could not be consumed. I was placed on hold and the store manager, as he identified himself, Grant, answered the call with a very snarky tone from the onset. In his opening, he said, he understood there was an issue with the order. I explained that I understood I may have forgotten to uncheck one of the two pork pepperonis on the pizza I ordered, however, have never had this issue before with the pizza having pork and inquired if any discount could be applied for my replacement since I’m a long time regular customer since we rarely if ever use any of the discounts sent to us nor any other coupling or loyalty rewards. Grant told me, in no uncertainty, that he would not. I asked why I was not called for clarity on my order, he told me they don’t call customers to clarify orders. I expressed this was untrue as I’ve gotten plenty of calls from their location over the years, he then stated he said it is not standard to call customers, not that it was not done. I asked again, after he confirmed my being a long time customer and then offered to retake my order my phone so there are no issues, if there would be a discount he apply and in a quite chastising tone, went on to say, with elevation in his voice my name, for all in earshot to hear, we will not give you a free pizza nor discount because you made a mistake on your order, as if you make a mockery to anyone whom could hear. When asked about this, he then continued, stating this was him giving good customer service just as I was speaking to him by his name – I asked him to stop calling my name and informed him I felt that threatened my future orders with them, mislabeling me as a customer, despite nearly a decade of loyalty and positive exchanges. The tone was condescending and attitude exceptionally smug and having been a take out order, knowing they had just seen my husband and I, I must wonder if that played a part. For this reason, not the lack of replacement pizza or discount offered, but the tone and tenor, I can no longer take my business to nor recommend Fresh Brothers in Marina Del Rey, CA. My husband loved his full meat charcotta as always and I’m so thankful I ordered a side of cheese sticks this time – they’re alright…

So incredibly disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered delivery from the MDR store which it appears they’ve contracted with UBER for delivery orders. I followed the delivery with the link provided. The pizza was picked up at 7:12pm. Originally it was supposed to arrive at 7:17pm. I live 1.2 miles away, it’s a 5 minute drive at most. I followed the delivery using the link. The car went to Venice before returning to MDR and finally arrived here at 7:39pm at which point the food was freezing cold. Not very “fresh”, brothers if you ask me. Never again. Also would like to note that the last time I picked up from in the store there was ONE employee working. Only one person to take orders, cook pizzas, everything. The line for picking up pizzas was out the door. Used to love this place but would no longer recommend it at all.

I usually order my pizza and pick it up or lately have it delivered. Staff taking order are friendly and always get it right. I am greeted coming in to pick up pizza and thanked when I leave. For delivery I order early and pick delivery time. So far, delivery have arrived right on time and my pizza is hot. Fresh Brother’s is my go-to for fresh, delicious pizza.

We ordered last night, the pizza was raw, even my 13 twin boys could not stop talking about how disgusting the pizza was. I also ordered double pineapple and there was barely any. I don’t usually write reviews but I went in this am, took the pizza back- nobody could help me and I get an email form a manager, Edgar, that keep bouncing back. No quality control and zero customer service. pizza was almost $80 for two mediums. What a disappointment.

Great on time delivery, the order was perfect and everyone was very helpful and courteous and this was New Year’s Eve! I did order earlier in the day to make sure everything worked out and it went as smooth as could be. Very professional staff.
