We celebrated Valentine’s Day by trying a new (to us) pizza place. We chose Bambino’s bc of the gluten free options & variety offered on the menu. Their GF boneless buffalo wings & GF fried pickles were so good. We waited a little longer than expected for our pizzas bc they were short staffed in the kitchen, but well worh the wait. They offered to comp one of our meals, but this wasnt necessary. They automatically comped our drinks. We’ll be going back again soon.

I ordered meatballs and an order or garlic bread (with no cheese) and we got a pear arugula pizza. Meatballs had a good texture but we’re very spicy – I could only eat one as they were too hot for me. Sauce was under seasoned. Very disappointed with garlic bread. It’s just pizza crust with garlic oil. I couldn’t taste any garlic. Plus it had char dust from the oven on one part. Pizza was ok, also lacked seasoning.

We have eaten at Burano’s a couple of times this year and found it to be very good. The Scarborough location has an interesting decor and atmosphere. The beer was cold and the food was fine. We will be back again.

Amazing food, staff and atmosphere! The Signature wings have a great taste that is a marriage of hot wings and peanut flavor. The pizza’s are awesome and are baked in a wood fired oven. My favorite is the Duck and Fig Pie

Ordered 2 pizzas, an 8 inch build your own with vegan cheese & pineapple, and a 12 inch build your own with BBQ sauce & chicken. They were both really good, the 8 inch was a perfect size for 1 person and the vegan cheese was creamy.
Our only complaint is that for the BBQ chicken pizza, we also ordered ranch but they didn’t put it on there. Very disappointing as the ranch would have made it exceptional, but the pizza was still good!

My husband and I decided to try this place for lunch after seeing a commercial for it the other night. We are always looking for good pizza. The place was definitely not crowded on a rainy Friday afternoon in January. We both ordered an 8″ pizza. I had caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, and chicken on mine. My husband had red onions, sausage, and meatballs on his. He said the homemade meatballs made all the difference. They were big too. The 8″ pizza gave 4 pieces that were gone too soon. The crust was light and airy and perfectly seasoned, not too heavy on taste at all. This was the best pizza I have had around here.

October 4th – Ordered take out for a large group gathering. I was told I was given my entire order when in fact I was missing chicken tenders I ordered for my son. Before returning we ordered a second round of pizzas just in case. I was given the new pizzas and my existing chicken tenders. When I returned home I realized they gave me the wrong pizza. At this point I was fed up of the back and forth. My wife spoke with the team and they confirmed that we were given the wrong order and they would comp the two new pizzas. Lo and behold I checked my credit card statement and that never happened. Set a fair expectation and follow through.

Went back for a second visit,very disappointed. We ordered drinks, wings,a salad, entree salad and scallops and shrimp linguini with a butter wine sauce.Took forever,after 40 minutes I questioned our waitress about it. She delivered our second round of drinks. She said it should be coming up soon they as were very busy. People around us that came in after us already had their food. I told her I was just worried we would get everything at once. Sure enough,every thing came at once, wings were lukewarm as was my linguini with shrimp and scallops. Thinking everything was sitting there for a while . Linguine with shrimp and scallops were very disappointing. Didn’t seem like a wine and butter sauce. Shrimp and scallops were fine, besides being lukewarm at best, the linguine was a gloppy mess. Had to edit my rating from last visit. Last time pizza was awesome we will try it again.

We had an amazing dining experience at Burano’s. Our server Maeve provided excellent service ensuring that our pizza was just as ordered. Everything was delicious – we had the specullous pizza and their signature wings which were delicious !

I really appreciate that they offer vegan cheese. I enjoyed the food, but what really made the experience was the server, Tia. She is personable, funny, and helpful. A delightful person. I took her recommendation, getting the Ratatouille pizza with vegan cheese. I also enjoyed her custom mocktail.
