I came to Lula Banh Mi & Bakery today and I’m so impressed! I ordered the Crispy Pork Belly Banh Mi, Jasmine Milk Tea, Beef Stew with baguette, and Pâté Chaud — everything was absolutely delicious.
The crispy pork belly banh mi was perfectly crunchy on the outside and flavorful inside. The bread was fresh and light, just how a good banh mi should be. The jasmine milk tea was smooth, fragrant, and not overly sweet. The beef stew was rich, flavorful, and comforting — the broth was amazing and paired perfectly with the baguette. Even the pâté chaud was flaky and tasty!
I recently moved here from Houston, Texas (which has a lot of great Vietnamese food), and I can honestly say this is the best banh mi bakery I’ve found in North Carolina so far. Truly a hidden gem. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Woah! Being from Chicago, and frequented many a Vietnamese place that rock a good Banh Mi, I came with high expectations. I had the Tofu Lemongrass, inhaled it outside the restaurant, and went back in to take one home for tomorrow! So happy. They bake their own bread.

Great little spot nestled in a shopping center. The people were nice and the food was great. I was staying at the 4 points so it was walking distance and I couldn’t have found a better spot for bahn mi or spring rolls. I really enjoyed it and recommend.

Went in for some small bites at this cute little place. The place is more set up for takeout. However, there is a long bench table with 4 chairs where you can sit and eat while looking out the front of the store. Also 2 little round tables outdoors. Love the colorful aesthetics. I tried some delicious springrolls and refreshing iced Jasmine milk tea.

There are a couple of benches inside to wait for your order, a high top table to eat inside and two outside tables. If you’re going with more than 4 people you might need to take it to go.
Every ingredient is packed with flavor. The meat is savory, the vegetables sweet, the jalapeños spicy and the bread crunchy. The sauce is pure umami.
The taro milk tea was delicious as well. I will go again.
They have another location at Arboretum that has more seating and options. Definitely try either of them.

As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a smile and a friendly attitude. I had the lemongrass tofu banh mi and some tofu summer rolls. My wife had summer rolls as well. Everything was delicious and the young lady that was manning the register was super polite and very helpful she had a great attitude..
Second visit to this location every bit is good they do a great job. This is the Best bahn mi in Charlotte, for that matter this is the best bahn mi out of all I have ever had and I try bahn mi everywhere we go.

Love this place! Tried it for the first time today and will be coming back. Very reasonable pricing and cute, clean spot. I got the tofu bánh mì and honeydew blend. The bread was fresh and the flavors were on point. The perfect amount of spice and crunch. The honeydew blended drink tasted JUST like honeydew and was quite refreshing! Lovely treat.

I absolutely love this place and the staff, shout out to Alessia for always putting a smile on my face! I order here frequently and it never disappoints! The lemongrass tofu bahn mi is so delicious and always tastes fresh. The price is also super affordable for the quantity and quality of food. The orange thai tea is some of the best I’ve had. highly recommend!

Awesome authentic Vietnamese food in Pineville! Everything that I have order have been amazing! Definitely give this place a try and support a local business.
The Lemongrass Pork and Rice is delicious. Pay extra for that egg you will not regret it. Perfectly seasoned and savory everytime! The numerous Banh Mi selection are all so good that deciding what you want is so hard. I’m surprised that this place is only a cafe setup. They always usually have ready made take out spring roll wraps if you just want to drop by. The bubble drink taste great too lots of flavor. The food is always fresh and hot dine in or order out. The one star was take off for wait time when dining in. I normally just order ahead on their site for takeout to avoid the wait. FYI, if you see the Bao Buns available grab them cause they are the best in the Charlotte area!
The only thing that I have not enjoyed here are the macaroons just too sweet but I don’t really care for sugary sweets anyway. BTW, do not believe there is a restroom for customer.
