Superb atmosphere and excellent service. We were staying at the hotel and had dinner here. Food was good. Something went wrong with one of our orders – the manager and our hostess Megan sincerely took care of it!
They gave crayons and paper to keep our toddler busy!

Service was excellent! I was visiting with my family over the Thanksgiving break and we came for breakfast. We had a great spread and sampled so many items and everything was delicious. Mauricio, our server, was the absolute best! He took great care of us, took photos, and even recommended some sightseeing for us to enjoy during our trip. We couldn’t be happier with the experience.

My sister and I had the most wonderful experience celebrating our very first Mother’s Day at Powder at the Waldorf Astoria. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The ambiance was beautiful, and the attention to detail truly made the occasion feel special.
Every dish—from the appetizers to the dessert—was flawlessly prepared and absolutely delicious. The service was equally outstanding. Fernando, Brian, and Aizham personally checked in on us throughout the meal to ensure everything was perfect, which made us feel so cared for. And a special shoutout to our amazing server, Shelby, whose attentiveness and warmth truly elevated our experience.
To top it all off, they surprised us with a flower and sweet Mother’s Day gift bag . A thoughtful gesture that added an extra layer of charm to an already perfect celebration.
We left feeling celebrated, appreciated, and already looking forward to our next visit. Powder really nailed it for our first Mother’s Day celebration. Highly recommend!

We spent the last three days at the Waldorf and ate at Powder there different times: Dinner, lunch, then breakfast.
We absolutely loved this place. The food was very good, but most of all the service was fantastic.
Special call-out to Megan. She was amazing. Not only did she take great care of us in the restaurant, but she arranged for us to get a special food gift in our rooms later that night.
Our favorite food items were the Iberico Presa, Trout Rillettes, Potato Soup, Bread Pudding, Eggs Benedict, and the Fois Gras (best I’ve ever had).
Great location for a romantic night. It was my 30th Anniversary and we enjoyed it a lot.

First, let me say Wyckes is amazing, kind, and attentive! Had she not been my server, the experience would have been a complete disaster. The food was not what I would expect from a Waldorf property. The butternut squash soup had an acidic flavor …like an overwhelming orange or ginger flavor. It would have been better frozen and served as a popsicle. The lunch chicken was plated quite lovely but again, lots of acidity in it and tough meat …nothing warm and savory about it. I ordered the poke nachos…again, way too acidic with the tons of pickled onions. Truffle French fries looked like they were remnants from the bottom of the bag. Oh! And did I mention the tuna for the poke was brownish gray? No more than one hour later did the food pass through me and my stomach was cramping all night. And, all of this for$120 for one person? Well $20 was the tip. But seriously, an 8 ounce diet coke for $8? Don’t let a fancy pour your soup from a carafe into a bowl fool you … Something seriously needs to be done with the recipes here. I even have a resort credit here and decided to skip dinner. The food was so bad.

We celebrated our anniversary here. The service at this restaurant was exceptional. I’m not entirely sure of our server’s name—possibly Shirley—but she delivered top-notch service. We enjoyed our dinner, especially the Lavender Duck, which was incredibly delicious. Highly recommend!
