I walked in around 7:45pm. Was ignored by the staff for about 10 minutes while I stood at the front entryway with a menu in my hands and only one other customer present. When the woman finally took note of me she said “what do you want” very rudely. I said I wanted takeout and I ordered the shu mai and the chow mein. When I handed her my card she tossed it back on the desk after paying without saying a word, and then tossed my receipt down, again without saying anything and without even looking in my direction. I then realized she wanted me to sign. So I signed. Then the woman began to walk away and I asked “how long will it take” and she said “you ordered the shu mai, so 18 minutes”. I left for 18 minutes and when I returned the woman looked at me and said “what do you want, you want takeout, sit down, what?” And I had to remind her that I had just ordered 20 minutes ago. She said “not ready yet”. So I sat down. They then went to the back and I heard them tell the others to start cooking. Then a boy came out and told me that it would still be another 10 minutes to cook. There were very few other orders being taken at this time. Around 8:30 they finally brought out my food, takeout, but the guy who brought it out was the person literally mopping the floor and he did not wash his hands between using the mop, and carrying my food.
I ordered takeout, but I was not given any utensils, napkins, or anything to eat my food with.
Would not recommend this place to anyone else, and I understand why there were so few people there.
The food tasted good though. Cold by the time I walked to the store from my hotel and bought a fork to eat it with. But tasted good.

Crispy noodle house chow mein. Great Crispy fried noodles, just served in a too small a plate. I am not a fan of the overly sweet brown sauce used on this dish, I grew up with a more clean clear or wine based sauce. The vegetables were fresh crisp and tasty. Meats of shrimp, chicken, beef were tender and made this a repeating thing to eat. I just need a lighter healthier sauce.

The staff are amazing. You can tell through their cooking, the choices of flavors they use, blend so well it’s an art form. I’d recommend this to anyone who asks me where to go for some great food.

Went there for lunch. Big restaurant, nice interior with nice Chinese decore. Service was ok. However, the quality of food was middle of the road. We ordered General Tso’s chicken and Orange beef lunch special with Chow Mein noodles. I advise against General Tso’s chicken as its nothing but deep-fried dough balls with a tiny sliver of meat. The Orange Beef was ok but on the soggy and doughy side (it seemed as if they tried to fry it in moderately hot oil). I am hoping that the kitchen was having a bad day. For now, just three stars.

I’ve given this place 3 tries. Once I dined inside and twice to go.
The restaurant is expansive in size & welcoming with tasteful decor.
The food however on each occasion was mediocre. The chow fun was tasty with plenty of veggies yet quite oily. The fried egg rolls were not good at all. I have never tasted any like this before- it was 3 times the amount of dough and they were rubbery and not crispy. The portion size is decent yet a tad on the pricier side. On my way out I saw the cook smoking in the parking lot- hoping we washes his hands.
It looks like many others love this restaurant. Perhaps there are some specialty items?

This place stinks and will never go back. Lost our reservation and the guy behind us too. Got seated though and had to wait 30 minutes to order. Brought out our food 1 plate at a time over the course of 2 hours and completely missed my order while others that arrived an hour after us got all their food at once. Everything was cold and the service was horrible. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

My favorite Chines food place around town. The servers are super nice, Jessica is our favorite, and Allen is a close second. The food is always fresh and consistent. Love their lunch special, rice or chow mein, and one item, including soup and appetizers, for about 12$. My personal favorite is the princess chicken with fried rice. My wife loves the spicy green beans and chow mein. The spring rolls are a must have as well, and don’t forget to order the spicy mustard, a great way to clean out your sinuses.

Our family has enjoyed coming here for many years but have taken a break because the server named Jessica has gotten too familiar and unprofessional with our family. Tonight we have colletivly decided we will never eat here again. She somehow thought commenting on my mother’s weight was appropriate. She went on about how my mother gained weight in her face. Not only was this incredibly rude and pretty cruel, but I was informed by other family it has happened before and that’s why they hadn’t dined there for more than 6 months. The owner is a great man but there is no way we can support this establishment ever again.

We come with a large group every time we visit China Village and they are always very accommodating and flexible! All the food comes out hot and delicious and the servings are extremely generous. Thank you China Village for hosting us!

We went to China Village last night because a family member came to visit from out of town. It was my husband, our 5-year-old, our relative, and myself.
From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed. The server (a shorter lady with glasses) came up right away asking if we were ready to order when we had just been seated. We hadn’t even looked at the menu yet. We ordered drinks, and while we were still deciding, she stood there and kept suggesting appetizers, even after we politely said no multiple times. I finally had to firmly say, “Ma’am, we’re okay for now.”
A few minutes later, two more servers came by asking if we were ready to order, which added to the pressure. We placed our order quickly, just to avoid feeling rushed. Our appetizer and meals came out at the same time, but our drinks were forgotten — we had to ask the busboy for them, and he was actually very kind and attentive (he deserves recognition).
When we were nearly done, the server came over asking how many boxes we needed — even though our relative was still eating. She stopped mid-meal and said she’d just take her food to go because of how rushed we felt.
The check came to about $115, and we left an $8 tip, which we felt was fair considering the poor service, the forgotten drinks, and the overall pressure we experienced. The shocking part came when the server counted our money right in front of us and said, “You realize this is for your food and this is my tip?” She pointed out the suggested tip amount and asked multiple times if we were sure we didn’t want to leave more. I told her yes, that’s what we’re leaving. She then said she’d “go talk to the cashier.”
It was incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing, especially in front of our visiting family member. The food at China Village is amazing — we’ve always loved it — but this experience left us very disappointed.
The busboy and other staff were great, but the service from this particular server and the way she handled the tip situation was completely unprofessional. Sadly, we’ll probably just do takeout or DoorDash from now on instead of dining in.
