I hate to say this because it is a cute little place, but I won’t go back. I had a veggie plate with mashed potatoes (tasted horrible & weird), macaroni salad (very watery & soupy) and fried squash (it was ok). My husband just had a burger & didn’t like it. He only ate about half of it. The employees were extremely nice & the restaurant was very clean. We just didn’t enjoy our food.

The price was the only thing good about this place. I placed my order and to make sure that the order was relayed correctly to the cooks I explain it to the waitress because it was a “funky” order. The first thing that I heard the male cook say was, “I don’t care what they want”…… Really? You don’t care what your customers want to eat? Maybe you should find another job if you don’t want to be a cook. The waitress was great. The price was great. The food, even though it was made the way I wanted it made, was horrible. And I can only imagine it was because of the cook’s attitude.

Me and my husband went to this café today. It was totally amazing. I love the atmosphere. It is like you’re back in the 50s and 60s. The food was amazing and the people are awesome. The owner is the sweetest nicest person you can meet me and my husband had never ate there And we pulled in there was hardly no cars went to walk up. I noticed on the door it said close 145. It was 145 and she let us come in and eat. She was just so amazing and kind go try this out. TJ Café is the best

We were out for a drive and wanted to eat at a local place and support their economy…what a great find for great food in a fun atmosphere of memorabilia! Had great eggs and hash and pancakes…sure ended the hungrys for us. Loved the decor…even a cute lunch counter and Elvis and Barbie and all kinds of items to bring bake happy times. Servers are friendly and locals meet there to catch up on news. Very clean too.
