In Boston we would classify this eatery, open air bar, live music venue as “Wicked Pissa”.
Love this place. Everyone is chillin, smiling, and partying.
We went with a cup of Tomato Basil Soup, Side Salad, the Reuben, and. Vegan Flatbread. Washing it all down with an Iced Tea, Hounds of Helles Brewskie and a J.A.C.P. Salted Carmel Whiskey.
Food was great, staff was professional, courteous and attentive to our needs. I think there is an ample array of spirits to let anyone dial in their palate’s desire. Whether you’re into some fusion or a traditional diner, they will take care of you.
Live music filled the air with a festive, chill vibe.

I love coming here! It’s off the beaten path so you don’t have the downtown noise. It is a refurbished old gas station! No matter your preference on beer, wine or cocktails they have it. You have the choice of wine or bourbon flights so you try a variety! The wine is locally grown and made in NC. There is a delectable menu to choose from if you are hungry. The garage doors roll up for indoor/outdoor seating.

What a wonderful place situated on the side of the mountain love the old gas station feel. We stopped in to grab a quick bite before we went hiking on a trail. We had the watermelon feta salad, hummus with artisan breadsticks, and a side salad. We were also able to pick us up a crescent nine cannabis beverage, which was wonderful option. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. We love the rollup garage doors the old truck, gas pumps all of the above if you’re in the area, you should stop by and support this local eatery.

First visit to the Slanted Window and it won’t be out last. The atmosphere is great. Our waitress and bartender were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fresh and delicious. They have music bingo on Saturday which I’m excited to try. Definitely worth the trip.

Amazing find , found this wonderful location to try all the local beers and wines you can imagine. Never tried mead before, yummy it was so delicious. I had a flight of 3, incredible. We also tried a flight of wines and whiskey, had to get the old fashion (one of a kind) Mmmmm all amazing. Also get the tomato basil soup, so fresh and with so much flavor!!! A must when in Franklin NC

Exceptional service and cocktails!
You know when you walk into a restaurant and the vibe just feels right? That’s how we felt entering Slanted Window. Bourbon and wine sourced from NC in a tastefully decorated old gas station with open garage doors, picnic tables and a stack of throws for the ladies who feel a bit chilled. Frank was fabulous and had excellent recommendations from the menu. Live music was amazing. We will come back to Franklin just to visit this place. It was a packed house and we were lucky to find a spot! Love, love, love!

The service was excellent. The ambiance was so chill and relaxing. The food also was top notch.
I loved that the space was open to outside. The garage doors were open, and it just enhanced the atmosphere. The chef it totally in their element. The flatbread was delicious, and the Caprese was truly fresh with a side of fresh greens for an explosion of flavor. We also had the peanut butter chocolate cake……and we will just leave as something your taste buds will not forget.
We had the flight of wine and tasted all 6 of the wines offered for 23$, and it did not disappoint. Now, if you are not too much on wine, that also had flights of Mead and Bourbon and Whiskey!!!!

Absolutely wonderful place for a nice low-key date. The wine flight is incredible with a nice selection. The food here is also delicious, and not too crazy in price, the service was impeccable. The young lady with curly hair and glasses was a delight and very helpful, lastly, the atmosphere was so cute from the mini fire pits on the tables, to the gas pumps as a fun backdrop. Definitely will be coming back to Franklin solely to visit here!

Slanted Window was recommended by a friend and I’m glad I listened. My wife had a 6 flight of wine and said 2 were very good and the other 4 were absolutely fantastic. I had a 3 flight of bourbon and all 3 were great. We had artichoke dip to start and Ruben & Cuban sandwiches for our meals. The atmosphere, food and service left nothing to be desired. If in the area it’s worth a try. We’ll definently return.
