Love this place. Have been eating here since the early 2000s. My favorite plate, chicken salad with grapes and chicken salad with chipotle. However this day we ordered the enchilada plate with fajitas. If passing through Starr County, stop here. Their burger are delicious as well. ☺️
Review update 11-10-25. These Enchiladas are very good UNLIKE those at Super Pollos on Monte Cristo, Edinburg. At Tu Casa Salads, their ice tea is brewed not POWDER!!!! Super Pollos, powder Guey, NADA que ver. Tu Casa Salad, Guey otro pedo. Por si no me creen.

Let me let ya’ll know the Fajita Enchiladas at this location are by far in my top 10 best of all time in the entire United States. I gave it a 3 star because the rice and beans needed flavor, but if we forget about that, it is a great place to eat. Also, most reviews complain about the service in this location, so I am confused as to why they continue to ignore their customers. Take the order and come back to see how the patrons are doing. It’s very simple. Anyway. Don’t let those 2 little things keep you from coming the food is AMAZING.

This is a nice place to eat lunch at, and the customer service is good, I personally loveee the caldo talpeño, and the raw veggie salad. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you haven’t tried it yet.

Visited Tu Casa for lunch on a Tuesday. Not crowded at all, very friendly staff and quick service. Ordered tacos Colorados, they nice and crispy, the beef could have used a little more flavor. The order was served with rice and beans.
