The name lives up to the hype! Such yummy Chinese dishes…love their Westlake soup, chow mein, sweet & sour pork, chow fun noodles, and one of the most flavorful chicken wings!!! They have so many good dishes to choose from. This is definitely one our go-to’s for take-out!

This might be the most bland Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’m not sure if we just showed up at a bad time or what.
Wonton soup had no vegetables (not even some scallions), bbq pork appetizer was cold and flavorless – they just gave some horseradish + ketchup + sesame seeds, none of which made it any better.
The beef brisket hot pot was ok. Giving a second star for that reason.
The place smelled of mildew. The staff were nice at least though.

The right restaurant at the right time. Walking through the Burke-Gilman trail sure builds an appetite. You can practically smell food a block away. The Two Dinner plate was everything I hoped for in a meal. Warm soup, chicken, beef, pork and veggies. Compliments to the chef. Yum!

Yummy Cafe is a go-to when I’m craving classic Chinese takeout. The Honey Walnut Shrimp is seriously good — crispy, creamy, and not overly sweet. Portions are generous, service is quick, and everything we tried hit the spot. Would definitely order again.

Told the owner who was working the counter that I was going through chemotherapy and needed a recommendation on something mild and easy on the stomach. He did a great job picking something out for me, someone who is not an adventurous eater. He chose garlic chicken w/ green beans. Never tried anything like it and I thought it was great! It was very easy on my stomach. 11/10, will be going there all the time while I’m in treatment.

A Hidden Gem in Seattle!
Yummy Cafe truly lives up to its name! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, great portions, and so much flavor in every bite. I highly recommend the General Tso’s Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp!

Most tasteless food ever. Just because you don’t use MSG doesn’t mean you can add other spices to make your food have flavor. We did take out and asked for small cups for the soup as we were visiting grandson at Children’s hospital. Not only did we.not get the promised containers, we got zero utensils and not one napkin. So disappointing to spend so much money on crap. I’d give zero stars if I could. YUCK!

My Go-To Chinese Spot!
I’ve been coming to this Chinese restaurant for a while now, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, but the real star of the show? The green beans. I don’t know what magic they put in them, but I could eat them every single time—and I do! Perfectly seasoned, crispy yet tender, and packed with flavor.
The rest of the menu is just as satisfying, with generous portions and a great balance of spice and savor. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and it always feels like a treat to eat here. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and go. And whatever you order—make sure the green beans are on your plate. You’ll thank me later.

I ordered a beef chow fun, and just before finishing the meal, I found a piece of steel wool debris in it. I showed it to the staff — you’d expect them to waive the charge in this situation — but they still made me pay as if nothing had happened. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I placed an order for pickup. Nothing much- just a sweet and sour with rice dish. When I arrived and saw the total amount to be $26 I was shocked to say the least. Just because it’s Seattle doesn’t mean that a hole in the Wall Chinese restaurant should be charging such an astronomical price for something that doesn’t cost much to make. The fact that my card wasn’t accepted (Amex) was a blessing in disguise.
