Food was great! Had Italian beefs. Long big sandwich with A LOT of meat on it. Big cup of sauce to dip it in. Service wasn’t too good however. We waited 10-15 minutes just to get noticed for them to take our order. They took it and waited a bit for the food. THEN, had to get her attention to get our check. Just glad we didn’t need refills. Good thing the food was delicious

It was hot but took me back to when I was a kid. Pizza is really good but my personal taste is thought the sauce is a little sweet. I loved the crust and the cheese. I like that they used real sausage chunks. Great service, good price. I’d recommend

Went there for dinner last night. Had a 12″ pepperoni, a 14″ sausage, 1 Italian beef with fries, 2 sodas, and 2 coronas. Bill was $70. Looked at the menu prices and by adding them up, it was less than $55. I know that tax isn’t $15 in Princeton. Also was nice enough to give a $15 tip and I have had way better service with waitresses that were given less for a tip. I am a very generous tipper when treated well by my waitresses. Very sad because I have always loved the pizza cellar. Been my favorite since I was a little kid.

Horrible experience, this place was not busy at all.
Not only did we Wait over 1 hour for are food the food was wrong making us to wait longer and then when asking for some sort of compensation we were told no after explaining are experience with our sever. If you would like your straws thrown on your table and have to ask for refills and like to get ignored by your waiter I would recommend 100% but if not I would not recommend at all.

Some of these reviews are way too harsh but what would you expect from pizza experts. I don’t live in Princeton I visit and I try to support mom and Pop pizza joints. I spend most of my money on pizza here. Not Chicago Tavern pizza but I haven’t found a better pizza in the Princeton area. I like their sauce slightly sweet. If they could figure out how to make the crust a bit crisper it wouldn’t hurt them. I prefer getting served by the younger waitstaff versus the lady that owns this place.

Staff were pleasant, pizza crust was really thin and on the hard side. Toppings were excellent especially the cheese and great sausage.

The service was amazing and the atmosphere was old school, but the pizza and calzone was not great.

I love Pizza Cellar! I have been going here since I was a kid and I have never once noticed a change in recipes like other places like to do to “change things up.” Pizza Cellar pizza has great flavor and it’s by far a favorite of mine. It’s family fun and definitely worth supporting! They have a variety of other things on the menu as well.

The pizza is good but watch out for the ingredients they use in thier pizza because objects may inadvertently get placed in your pizza. My grandson bit into a pepperoni pizza from pizza Cellar and pulled out a bread tie. The funny part is that the lady who took the call from our daughter in law about the bread tie in the pizza accused my daughter in law of placing the bread tie in the pizza herself to get her money back. My daughter in law didn’t pay for the pizza. Johanna and I did because we have the greatest daughter in law, son, and grand kids in the world. Who make us proud grandparents. I am not surprised by the accusation from the pizza Cellar because this place supported the President of Citizens First National Bank and if you google it you can see how that all turned out.

Was in here a couple weeks ago with my good friends John and Colleen Dodd. Absolutely the Best pizza I’ve had in years. Incredibly Delicious. Wish it was closer to Joliet, I’d be there every day!!
