I tried this spot 2 weeks ago and have ordered at least 5 times. I want to try everything on there menu. So far, the things I’ve tried has been a 10 out of 10. I ordered the Seafood Eggrolls, the 40 Drip flavored Wing Special, Flamin Hot Cheeto Boudain Balls, the Cheeseburger (both beef & vegan), and the Strawberry milkshake.
And when I tell you everything was still hot and fresh even when I ordered on DoorDash. Always fresh ingredients and you can tell they using clean grease. Now on my new list of favorite spots. Definitely worth trying.

I’ve been waiting for the store to reopen so when they came right down the street, I was ready to go. I went about a week ago and came for their $5 junior plate special with a slice of Oreo cheesecake. The cheesecake was so good and I don’t really even like cheesecake usually. Same goes for burgers, but their junior box with the burger wings and fries is a great value and will be back soon for sure.

I’ve been to Down South Restaurant twice in the last 24 hours, that’s how good it is!
I tried the 24K Wings, Shrimp, Mac and Cheese, Seafood Pasta, and Jerk Pasta with Shrimp, every single dish was a 10/10. The flavors were bold, seasoned perfectly, and cooked just right.
The Seafood Egg Rolls? Absolutely 10/10! Crispy, flavorful, and packed with seafood in every bite. Be sure to ask for the dipping sauce.
Everything was fresh, hot, and worth the wait. When you go twice in 24 hours, you already know it’s a hit. I’ll definitely be back again!
As for the strawberry cheesecake, it wasn’t my favorite. It tasted a bit on the inexpensive side, but since this isn’t primarily a dessert spot, I didn’t have high expectations. It was okay, just not the highlight of the meal.

Flavor-packed comfort food with a southern twist! Wings are well seasoned and crispy, perfectly paired with house sauces. The owner/chef, & staff are welcoming and know what they’re doing. Will be trying the seafood next time. Definitely recommend!

Was so hungry I forgot to take pics of the food! The Cajun shrimp pasta bussin! Lamb chops good! Those candied baked beans so damn good omg! Y’all please try them and the mac n cheese fire!! It was only 2 of them cooking so it was bit of a wait but give them grace yall, it’s definitely worth it! Oh and the green apple drink delicious! Will definitely be back! Lunch was about. $85. I never complain when the food is delicious. Only suggestion I have is for the prices, you should provide better quality of plastic ware. I loathe those cheap forks lol

I had been wanting to try this place since they were located downtown! I got the .50cent wing special. They were delicious! I got them breaded and tossed in Nashville honey hot. I normally don’t like breaded wings but I took a chance and it surpassed my expectations. My food arrived quickly it was still fresh and the wings were not soggy! I can’t wait to try the crab fingers and much more! 10/10 recommend. I also like how he always offers different specials that are super affordable. Like the 5$ jr box. Keep up the amazing work. Glad you moved to my area.

The food is great. I come all the way from Griffin, Georgia. The egg rolls was delicious. Customer service the bomb 28 years with Delta airlines I know great customer service when I see it please try the fried lobster One of my favorite.

I went to the initial Tasting for Down South, it was AMAZING! Every item that was served (tapas style for this event) was fresh, full of flavor and very authentic recipes. I went back following the official opening. My family got the steak egg rolls, jerk lamb chops, collard greens, fried salmon bites & lobster bites– and let’s just say, you can’t find THIS anywhere else in Atlanta. Being from Florida, I am so HAPPY we now have Down South.
