Hello we are David and Veronika & we own FIG Studio Kitchen. We wanted to create something different. FIG was an acronym for FOOD IS GREAT and the Studio Kitchen is how our kitchen is viewed. First visit, it was great. New favourite.
Fine dining with the casualness of a hometown diner. Great unique menu. Awesome waitstaff. comfortable atmosphere. Recomend Reservations as it was busy but we were just traveling through town and stopped on a whim and they worked us in.

We drove 2 1/2 hours three weeks ago in a snowstorm for my mom‘s 75th birthday. We had a reservation at the Fig for 16 of us.
Even though my parents live in Ripley, this was my first experience here.
Not only is the atmosphere a total vibe, the food was incredible. The service was top-notch. Worth the drive and the family time was priceless. The Fig is a hidden gem! Beautiful environment, welcoming staff, and accommodating to all ages. We recommend booking an experience here. We will definitely be back.

Celebrated my birthday dinner here! Had the best time, The food was absolutely UNREAL! The most insane oysters, could not fault a single part of the whole night! A hidden gem! We were in Ripley for my son‘s hockey tournament and decided to stop in at this restaurant for lunch… And we’re over the moon that we did! The food was incredible the atmosphere was beautiful and the service was excellent! Their beer selection is mostly local as well as a lot of local products including sauces, pottery and flour from local venders are for sale….There’s not much in Ripley but this place is every bit worth making the trip!

Yesterday my friend & I enjoyed a perfect brunch/lunch at the Fig. I had checked menu the day before and decided I would order the lamb meatballs. So when we were given the brunch menu I was thinking maybe if I asked for lamb they might grant my wish. Thanks Veronica and your chef for making this lunch both memorable and tasty.

The inside of the restaurant is modern and bright with plenty of seating for groups and couples.
The staff were polite and friendly.
We tried the croissant sandwiches with home fries and they were delicious.
I would love if they had an option to substitute the home fries for fruit or a green salad.
The brunch options were fairly heavy and it would be great to see a couple of lighter breakfast options to choose from.
The experience was good and I would recommend it if you’re passing through the area.

While on a trip to Ripley Ontario, my wife and I, had the good fortune to find the Fig Studio Kitchen.
We stopped in for lunch .
First impressions, it felt warm, cozy and with friendly staff and owners, we knew we had found something special.
My wife ordered the potatoes and leek soup and crab cakes.
I ordered a seasonal favorite, the tomatoe stack.
The pictures I posted of our lunch, say it all. Everything was fresh, flavorful and a beautiful presentation.
We will definitely be back again, for dinner.

Have been following this restaurant throughout the pandemic as I wanted to try it but it was a considerable drive so needed the right timing. Very much worth the drive, a lovely little restaurant in the town of Ripley. Three dishes to share and we had lots left over to take home. Truffle fries, caesar salad and cauliflower mushroom pizza, all delicious and indulgent. Lots on the menu still to explore and they are testing new dishes now, the pizza was on the trial menu. Great experience, very friendly service and a lovely small town atmosphere.

Last night myself and 5 other family members had an evening meal at the Fig. I have heard many positives about the restaurant and this was my first visit. The Fig absolutely lived up to it’s great reputation. The menu variety was great and there were many featured items not on the normal menu. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and well presented. The service was awesome as well.
I highly recommend the Fig!
