Came for the poke and was not disappointed. You can’t find these prices anywhere else for this quality. The rice bowl with half spicy and half shoyu was delicious and only $13. Rice was nice and hot since it was freshly made and the fish was fresh.

I love their mochi donuts!!! Super delicious and I ordered it via DoorDash and it was still warm when I got it! The matcha, earl grey, and chocolate ones are really good! Haven’t tried their cookie flavor and sesame flavor but they look yummy already

Hands down the best mochi donuts in the bay. Recently got their shoyu ahi tuna bowl. GENEROUS amount of tuna, seaweed salad, and rice. Incredibly filling and tasty. Subtle savory flavors that complement the rice well.
Will be back for donuts and poke.

I am not not a big mochi donut eater – my wife and daughter are. BUT I have to say MoDo mochi donuts are delicious. In particular, their donuts can easily pinched apart so you can enjoy one round ‘bump’ at a time.

My favorite place for Mochi Doughnuts!!! Fresh made after you order them. Light, Soft, warm, and delightful Flavors!! They also offer delicious ice creams and other drinks here too. All of the flavors are great but some of my favorites are Hawaii Passion Fruit( Lilikoi ), Pandan, Matcha, Ube, and Black Sesame. Glad I get to try the new Pumpkin Spice for the Holidays Season

I’ll be honest: I’m not a fan of donuts. When offered a donut, I’m one of those people who says, “No thanks.” I don’t like the taste that lingers in my mouth after the first bite. However, this was a completely different experience. These donuts are made to order, not greasy, and are golden to perfection, light, and “melt in your mouth.” The selection of flavors is plentiful enough not to be overwhelming but enough so you can try one of each.
The amiable staff works hard to prepare your order as quickly as possible. I chose the following flavors:
– Cookies & Cream
– Churro
– Black Sesame
– Matcha
– Ube
– Lilikoi
My favorite was the Lilikoi, which I highly recommend trying.

MoDo continues to feed on pop culture. Leveraging dippings with flavorings like lilikoi, matcha, ube, passion fruit – aside from traditional ones – on plain vanilla ‘pon de ring’ donuts.
Could not get any donuts with fillings; such a downer. Disappointed, to say the least.
Drinks are okayish. Fad for Instagram types but do not weigh up to the premium price point.

We loved the donuts here. They’re crunchy, not too sweet and hit the right spot. The owner misheard ‘Milk Chocolate’ donut for ‘Matcha Donut’. We only realized it was Matcha when we reached our car. When we went back, she kindly gave us the milk chocolate donut and let us keep the matcha one too. Service is excellent.

Hands down the best donuts in the area. I’m firmly on Team Matcha, while my friends swear the milk chocolate ones are the real MVP. We agree to disagree (over donuts).

I came around 6:30 pm and ordered the tiramisu mochi donut. The staff was very friendly and made my donut fresh to order. It was the first time trying a mochi donut that was still hot. The fresh mochi donut was really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not as chew as when it is cooled down. I was a bit surprised when I bit into it as I was expecting it to be soft and chewy all around. I think I preferred my donut cooled down a bit more as the flavors would settle and would be more chewy. I think it was still too hot for me to taste the tiramisu flavor, tho I do remember it being pretty good when it was cooked down.
There are no seating’s in the store, but you could find some just a few step outside by the fountain.
