Delicious! Wish I took a picture of food, but it was too good to wait. We loved the crab rangoons, pho and banh mi. Everything tasted so fresh. We stopped as we were traveling on I80; now I want to make the trip just for the food. Nice atmosphere (building is cool), great service and pretty quick too. Newton is lucky to have such a nice restaurant.

Best Pho just off I-80 in Newton, Iowa!
Kind of hidden in town but Google Maps or Sat Nav will get you there no issues!
The service is great and friendly.
We tried the spare ribs also very delicious!
Cozy place to warm up with a great price for such a generous portions of food.
So glad we found this place!

We grabbed lunch here. Very cool building. The owner was so nice and chatty. We ordered Thai friend rice and drunken noodles. Both dishes were very good. And they came out fast. I have had different date better Thai but for the Newton area they should feel lucky for this option.

My wife and I have lived in Newton for almost 3 years, we’re Texas transplants. And we’ve seen this place on numerous occasions, but had not tried it. We decided to try it this evening for dinner, and I’ve got to say, this is by far the best restaurant in Newton. Friendly atmosphere, excellent service, and the food was AMAZING. The best crab rangoons I have eaten anywhere, hands down. IF I could give 10 stars, I would.

I love it when you walk in a restaurant and they know your name! I’m a big fan of the Pho and the Bahn Mi but everything our family orders we enjoy. I love that we have diversity in food in our small town, we can go to Maid Rite and Viet Thai from the same parking lot. lol

Anytime I come to Pella I make it a point to stop here at least once. This time was disappointing. They didn’t have my seafood stir fry. I had to settle for shrimp fried rice. It was good but not great. I asked that the spice level be set to medium and I didn’t taste any heat. I will be back but I’m really hoping for the stir fry seafood.

I would fully recommend visiting this restaurant for lunch or dinner. If you like curry, their yellow curry soup is delicious! The customer service is also great! I ordered lunch to go and while waiting for my meal, I was offered a glass of water. The atmosphere is very welcoming too and I look forward to dining in with family and friends in the near future.

My friends and I discovered this gem while visiting Iowa. It’s in a old town cutsie downtown area in Newton, IA. appetizers and food was really good !
My friends really enjoyed the shrimp tempura and crab rangoon. We will be back next year !! Service was great too. Thank you !
