The atmosphere is nice, a deep navy blue chairs and booths, with a decorative backdrop for the bar. The food was perfectly cooked and served in a beautiful presentation.

The food here is amazing. I was able to sample 4 different dishes with my friend and all of them where amazing the chicken korma was my favorite. They also have gluten free naan , which was also delicious, and seem to take cross contamination very seriously which is very nice especially in a smaller town.

Food was good here. We had the Veg Pakora, Paneer Makhani, Butter Naan, Lachcha Paratha, Garlic Naan and Palak Paneer. Everything was delicious. The portions seemed a bit small for the price. Service though was quite bad. Servers and the managers weren’t attentive at all and seemed disgruntled for most of our visit.

We waited a long time for Indian food to come to Newport… and it did not disappoint! We love this place! The dishes we love are: Saag, Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken, Veg Samosas, chicken Korma, Chicken Malai Tikka, and of course, garlic naan. I even had a mean martini here! Go see them and enjoy something tasty and different on the coast!

I highly recommend this restaurant. From the Indian tea through the entire meal including the naan, raita and chutneys was amazing. We had the mixed tandoori grill and lamb curry both were delicious. Portions are generous especially the mixed grill. Service was wonderful. We will be back.

Hands down the best Indian food in Oregon. Very fresh preparation and quick service. Good menu offerings for vegetarians as well. Loved the Rogan Josh, Malai Kofta and Amritsari Chole Kulche. We came back a second time during our stay in Waldport for the food here.

This place is amazing! The staff was very kind and squeezed us in on Christmas even though they were swamped. The place is clean and beautiful. The food was fast and the absolutely delicious. We had the chili potato appetizer that was unlike anything I’ve had before but really great. Then chicken tikka masala and palak paneer. These are classics for us but absolutely some of the best and freshest versions of our staples that we’ve ever had. But the kicker was the cheesy garlic naan! Obviously made fresh, it came out bubbling. It was so light and fluffy, and perfectly cheesy with fresh garlic. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re passing through, and if you live in Newport I’m jealous you have this at your fingertips daily!

The food is very good! The tandoori chicken was tender and flavorful, with plenty of meat and great seasoning. Vindaloo has lots of lamb meat inside. They are generous about the meat. Service is also good. Reasonable price.
But it was so cold inside. They need better insulated closed doors. My butter solidified within minutes, but at least the mango lassi stayed cold the entire time.
I would have given it 4.5 stars, but it was so cold inside that the food cooled down quickly. We look forward to dining there again when the weather is warmer in May!

a lot fancier than i was expecting! nice staff and fresh food. Yummy all around, but not as flavorful as I was expecting. BUT! the garlic naan was perfect: not too chewy or dry or crunchy or bland! veggie samosas were also good, but not $4-a-pop good. Channa masala and rice were good.
