“Hands down the best Mexican food in the area! The Birria Quesadilla is packed with flavor and absolutely massive — easily shareable. The Arroz Texicano is incredible too: super tender beef, perfectly seasoned chicken, and plump, juicy shrimp all mixed with flavorful rice. Everything tastes fresh and authentic.
Our server Sara was fantastic — quick, professional, super friendly, and always smiling. Great service really made the meal even better. Huge portions, reasonable prices, and delicious food… we’ll definitely be back soon!”

Had Sunday lunch at Don Chem as and it was excellent. Attached photos of the Verde Enchiladas and Don Chemas Special ( Chimichanga and Quesadilla).
The food tasted like the Chef knew what he was doing. The flavors were distinctive. The servings were large.

Flavorful, beyond delicious food! This was our first visit. We were immediately given free chips and THE BEST salsa we have ever had! It had a sweet snap that set it apart. I ordered a mushroom Quesadilla – which I had been craving all day – and was surprised that the mushrooms were sautéed and seasoned – as this simple dish ended up being a flavorful surprise. The accompanying guacamole was also fresh. My partner enjoyed tacos, rice and beans which he also commented was expertly seasoned and exceptional compared to our “regular” Mexican restaurants. Service was friendly and on point, obviously we will be back.

We recently moved to North Myrtle Beach. I’m so glad we found this wonderful Mexican restaurant. The food is amazing, the service was fantastic! Nick was our server, he was personable, professional, and very funny! He certainly added to our wonderful experience. The food was full of flavor and large portions so we could share. The drinks were amazing! The margaritas were great! They were not full of sugar, they were very flavorful.
We will definitely be back for more delicious, authentic Mexican food!

This was a gem we happened across while in Myrtle Beach. Everything about this place was excellent. Our server(Nickolas) was very patient (we had a large group) and accommodating. The portion sizes were nice and everything was delicious! Didn’t take too long to get the food, either. We’ll be going there again!

Small little place. Fantastic food and the House Margaritas are off the chain! $5 Happy Hour. The Birria Tacos are to die for and the Fajitas are tasty as well. My husband had the Churrasco Argentino, delicious. We will be putting this on our Taco Tuesday. This was our second time in a week

We had a terrific experience at Don Chemas Mexican Restaurant on a Monday evening. Our party of 8 included several children. We were seated promptly and were brought 4 baskets of warm chips and salsa. Everyone enjoyed our entrees. Mexican food is one of our favorites and we all agreed that it had outstanding flavors, cooked perfectly and great service. If you are in Myrtle Beach, check it out!

Stopped by for lunch and it wasn’t too busy thankfully. Good location, not too far from the beach. The service wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing. It was, enough. Lol. Overall, everyone was pleasant. I thought the food was a bit bland. Others in my party liked their food, except for the rice. Worth a visit? Absolutely! Maybe we went on a bad day. I’d try it again for sure.
