Really pleasantly surprised. Been putting off this place for a while solely based off location. Will definitely eat humble pie now though. Food portion was very generous and the food itself was actually really tasty. That plus the online discount really makes this place a no brainer and our new go to for a local takeaway.

Second time I have had a takeaway (delivered) .
1. Both deliveries on time requested, and hot.
2. Amazing flavour.
3. Great portion sizes
4. I have had Curries and kebabs from all over Inverness , this is the best by far.
5. Tried the mixed donner kebab tonight…..OMG, awesome. Trust me, it is AMAZING

Didn’t get a chance to take a photo, it was too good. Suggest that Spice of Life put a photo up of the Muxed donner on Nan…

Absolutely amazing takeaway!
We got the curry set meal for 2 and the amount of food was amazing! Lots of variety and really flavourful! And enough for me to have leftovers for lunch the next day
We got a Chicken Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala for our main Curries and Bombay Aloo and it was so delicious!
The guy taking our order was super nice and their (who is assume is delivery driver) took it out to us as we waited in the car for it to be ready after ordering in store. Top notch Indian takeaway and I am excited to try other things on their menu 🙂

Had a pizza and chips whilst my partner opted for a kebab and chips. Hands down the best pizza I’ve had, hot, generous toppings and delivered rapid. My partner says 10/10 for the kebab – will 100% be back, this is our new takeaway night go-to!! Awesome service too.

Can’t give a review of food because, after two hours, I never got it. Ordered food and after 45 mins received an update saying that it was out for delivery. Bearing in mind that the place is a 10 min drive away, I waited for an hour after that. This took me to an hour and 5 mins after it was due to be delivered. They were obviously lying about it being on route. When I cancelled the order at almost two hours since I ordered it, I was informed that they would bring it to me within 5 mins. I said “no”. I’d waited enough. The fact that they’d said this too further enforced that it had never been on route. Would thoroughly recommend that no one uses them. It’s about time we had good takeaways in Inverness. This rubbish is inexcusable. Sadly the norm up here.

So glad they have opened up again. Lovely food, have ordered a few times now. Set menus are great value. I recently had the meal for 1 with a korma, it was delicious and nicely spiced and had a generous portion of chicken in it. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had from there, it always tastes so good and really authentic. Also rhe lady who delivers is so friendly. Highly recommend!

Very poor customer service. I rang to place an order and the person who answered the phone repeatedly said “call back” and hung up before I could even confirm whether I’d reached the correct takeaway. When I finally got through again, I was supposedly put on hold, but instead I could hear the staff swearing and talking in the background. Completely unprofessional and uncomfortable. If this is how customers are treated before even ordering, I won’t be giving this place my business again.

Been using a highly rated restaurant in the area for some time, but over time the food became boring. So , tried Spice of Life and I (WE) were very happy with our orders. I don’t usually finish a main in one sitting , yet despite the good portion size I didn’t want to stop eating. I like the Tandori Chicken curry options…much better than your mainstream chicken tikka’s. Will definitely be exploring the Spice of Life menu further .
