The food was very good. Everything was fresh and they offer a great toppings bar with different salsas, cheese and sour cream. They also offer chips and salsa in the back for those dining in. The prices however, were a bit outrageous. We honestly almost left after reviewing the menu. The pictures I’ve attached, one of which is a kids meal, plus 3 soft drinks was $57. Like I said, food was good, but not sure we’ll be back anytime soon with those costs.

It was just ok the carnitas was amazing but my asada came out dry and chewy and it was just expensive for what they had to offer. No fresh chips and you have to pretty much build your own tacos at the condiment station. The cashier was Aldo kinda rude and seemed very disinterested

Salsa, queso, and hot sauces on point! I loved it. Super fun to pick your taco meats (I got carne asada, barbacoa, and al pastor) and top them yourselves! Topping selection isn’t massive, but it’s got everything you need! My god the salsas are awesome, hey all have a great kick of spice as well, loved the ranchero salsa on everything! The green hot sauce was wildly spicy but super flavorful, had my nose dripping and eyes sweating for sure, but it was delicious! Best tacos I’ve had in Clermont yet. Al pastor and barbacoa were amazing. Definitely will go back!

Highly recommend. Was our first time here and we felt welcomed immediately. Went with the owner’s recommendations for food and everything tasted homemade. Real tomato, real house-made tortillas. Reasonable prices and colorful atmosphere. Loved the salsa bar!

Food that could have come from my grandmother’s own kitchen. Very authentic taste and atmosphere. Staff was attentive. Would ABSOLUTELY come again and again.

Taco Norteno is hands down the best taco place in central Florida. The food is so authentic. The atmosphere is very real and the servers are all bilingual. They are very quick to answer questions from those of us who don’t speak Spanish. That’s kind of important for a food service to be able to share their culture with us here. I love that they are receptive to all of their customers. I happened to stop by at happy hour (Monday thru Friday 4-8 pm) and they had $4 margaritas and they were amazing! They do not cheap out on the alcohol like most places do. Pictured are beef nachos which were so delicious when they were fresh but, believe it or not, were even better as the bottom layers of fresh made tortillas soaked up the cheeses and juices from the toppings. I’m not one to eat “soggy” foods so the fact that I liked these this way was a pleasant surprise. The tortillas remained somewhat firm but took on a consistency like an enchilada. So good. All the taco flavors, steak, chicken, and pork were all equally delicious. We ordered the street taco platter which is six tacos, 2, 2, and 2 of each flavor. All six for $13.99. Great price. You can add your own toppings at their vast salsa bar along with the sautéed onions they provide on the side. Overall, Taco Norteno is a fantastic place to eat real authentic Mexican food. It is now a regular for us. You must go!
Update: The little desserts are coming 6/10/24 are the tres leches and the flan. They brought us a sample of these upcoming desserts when we were here on Friday 6/7/24. These little samples were absolutely incredible. We will be back just for dessert.

On vacation from Canada we stubbled upon this amazing “hole in wall” Mexican restaurant. 5 outta 5 all the way.

My first time here and the tacos are so good. They offer corn or flour tortillas but my favorite were the Tacos Callajeros (street tacos) . I love the salsa bar! So many salsas to choose from. Plus, you can get warm chips to go along with the many salsa options, if you dine in.
