I grew up going to Mister G’s — back when I was twenty-one… and even a little underage at eighteen. Times were different then, and I had friends who worked there, so it always felt like home. The original nostalgia is still there, and walking in today brings back all those memories.
They’ve added a brand-new area that’s really nice and gives you a different way to enjoy the place. I went on a Wednesday thinking it wouldn’t be busy, but it was still packed with people from the Middletown area and Eastern High School. It actually made the night better — getting to catch up with everyone.
The pizza isn’t quite the same as it was when Goodall’s restaurant was in the back, but honestly, you’re really there for the drinks and the people. And for that, Mister G’s still delivers.

Came to see a comedy act and the speakers kept going in and out. It really took away from my favorite comedian. He rolled with it and made the best of it but dang.

Just went for drinks this night. The bar is locally renowned. Service was great as usual. Atmosphere is very comfortable. Decor and layout hasn’t changed much in years- which is a plus and gives the bar a lot of character.

I got the mule and the ginger beer was so so flat but the vibes are good. They have 2 large rooms and bars, billiards, darts and virtual bowling & a generous amount of seating inside and out.

$14 for a double jack and coke. Outrageous. Other than that it’s a great place to go on Mondays if you like beer and wings.
Also the menu clearly states 1 wing is $1.25, which is cool that you can order a single wing. But why does it cost more to order 10 and not less? Aren’t bulk orders supposed to be cheaper?
If you’re curious, you can definitely try to order a single wing multiple times.
