Needed a place to grab some food before heading over to Nine State Brewery and wanted to support a local establishment. Always searching for a great pizza in Florida and the pictures here looked great.

The place was empty when we arrived which was a little suspect, but quickly got busier while we were there. Everything tasted great, although I wasn’t a big fan of the Chicken Venetian pizza. My wife loved it, but I am more traditional. The eggplant parm was plentiful and delicious. Their sauce was right on. We look forward to coming back!

I’ve been hearing about this place and today got the time to stop by for lunch. Nice atmosphere, clean, seating inside & outside, good selection on the menu. Different but be adventurous! My waitress, Cassie, was so friendly and helpful. I had the Chicken Pesto Pressed Paninis and Chicken Tortellini Salad. It was awesome! Can’t wait to try the pizza.

Update 3/27/19: The pizza is awesome! My son wants it every time we are in the area. I still want the dough recipe. Lol.

Nice ambiance, music and atmosphere, but very small area Food is a hit or miss. Homemade bread sticks was very over kneeded so they were tough to chew. The pizza was really good thin crust and very fresh tasting. We got the Margherita pizza. I definitely recommend it. 1 waitress working and seemed overwhelmed forgetting our salad until we asked after pizza came out. Salad was very fresh and looked really good.

Ate lunch here and had the shrimp Mediterranean artisan pizza and it was delicious! We went for a late lunch and the place wasn’t busy so when it took a while for the food to come out I was wondering what the hold up was but it was clear the pizza was hot and fresh out of the oven and 100% worth the wait! Will definitely be going back here whenever we’re in town visiting family again!

Situated in the shadow of the historic Citrus County Courthouse is a little gem of a restaurant called Motor City Pasta Co. The atmosphere is family friendly, service is excellent and the food is OUTSTANDING!!! We stopped by in the evening for a for Bob and dessert for me. I had the best amaretto cheesecake on the planet. Joe Romano, the owner, came over to welcome us. His family has been in the restaurant business since 1946, beginning with pizzarias in Detroit. Joe is the grandson of Papa Gennero who trained his family not only how to make fabulous food but he also instilled in them great pride in their culinary heritage. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes ranging from tapas to fresh fish, pasta and pizza. This is no ordinary place to eat. It’s a little slice of heaven. We want to thank our delightful server, Danielle for looking after us so well. Thanks for such a memorable dining experience.

Great food. The service was the best. They have a wonderful wine list. I tried 3 and liked them but I wasn’t driving.

Folks who have left bad reviews must not know real pizza because this place is by far the best pizza place around Inverness. And, it’s cooked best way, in a brick oven. Got the Margarita and Chicken w/ artichoke. Both were delicious and amazing thin crunchy crust cooked just right. Plenty of garlic and basil. I personally prefer fresh basil…but not a big deal. So happy we finally got to have an edible pizza and will definitely be back!

We recently moved from the West coast. Honestly couldn’t find a decent pie to save my life! ..until today. We got two pizza pies at Motor City, and they were amazing. I know it may sound silly to be so excited over a pizza joint, but as a family of Sicilians we are over the moon about it! Motor City, thank you so much! You have our business from here ! Cant wait to try your pasta dishes.
P.S. the cannoli was filled fresh, as we arrived. Another item done rite!

My first time ordering here. We ordered carry-out. The guy who answered the phone was very awkward. It didn’t seem he really knew telephone etiquette. The pizza was okay… Not my favorite in town. I liked the Italian sausage, but it could have been sliced thinner. There wasn’t much bacon and one side had burned crust while the other side seemed under cooked. All in all it was decent pizza, and if someone else was buying I’d eat it; but I prefer a thinner, less fluffy crust, so I wouldn’t order it again.
