This isn’t the type of breakfast spot I would recommend. First the sausages were overcooked ( turkey sausage ). I told the waitress and she told the chef to make them over and they were yet again burnt. The eggs weren’t fresh, the cheese wouldn’t even melt so that tells me they weren’t freshly made. The only thing I really liked was the pancakes. The corn beef hash was straight out of a can, and was just nasty. The home fries weren’t freshly warm from the grill. Then my husband asked for a Greek omelet to which the chef left out the olives. The waitress took it off the bill I believe. Although I don’t see how when the bill still came up to $40. The way they give you your bill is on a rankled up bill with nothing but a price written on it. I honestly wish we chose elsewhere.

Was sat at a table after a short wait, but after almost an hour and we still had not gotten our orders taken or drink orders put in, my three friends and I left. Would have been nice to have been acknowledged and we would’ve understood if they were short staffed or backed up but waitresses were mostly in the back or behind the wall in the back, so we couldn’t even flag someone down. Food wasn’t even coming out for the whole hour we were there, only drinks. When we left no one even noticed.

Party of 4 went out for brunch and arrived at the restaurant at 12:00, was seated within 5 minutes but then never saw a waitress again. Left at 12:50 — was never greeted by a waitress, not given water, no one apologized for the delay. We left without our order ever being taken. Expect to be left waiting around, and don’t go if you are really hungry.

Traditional American dining with a Spanish twist.
If you want fluffy and tasty pancakes with solid home fries in West Roxbury, then hit this place up.
Huevos rancheros
Sausage & egg quesadilla: This HIT the spot! Highly recommend!!
Fiesta potatoes looked great, and I wish I could’ve gotten em but alas, next time
Old style potatoes came with onions and tasted just ok, so stick with the regular home fries
Service: 5 stars
Food 3.5
Ambiance: 3 (dining area could use some pizzazzing up)

Tried to go to breakfast here and waited around 45 minutes without being asked for an order, given water, or even acknowledged. I made eye contact with the waitress a number of times, but she never came over to us. Ended up leaving before anyone had ever come over.

Great local spot on Centre St. Nice diner vibe with great service.
Food was decent, and lots of great options with amazing prices in today’s cost.

Server at the diner counter is not only rude but just a crappy person . Let me say she just shouldn’t be in the service industry. Ordered sausage eggs toast . Came out in less than 5 minutes. She asks how is it ? I said that the sausage is cold . She says I find that hard to believe. Really lady ? Why even ask ? This is the 2nd time I’ve had an issue with her . The first time we walk in the court tee has crumbs and stains all over it . When I asked her to clean it so we could sit she gave us attitude. It’s time this place closes .

First time here and it was lovely! Great food, the staff was really nice, and the pancakes were fantastic. You can tell the difference between a pancake made from scratch vs one from the box. Great work–will def be coming back!

The food was very well prepared and they give you alot for your buck. The woman at the register asked me how did I get in? I opened the door. Im guessing they had an exit door that was left unlocked. My only critique is they ran out of turkey sausage.

Westbury Diner is a staple on Centre St. It’s a no-frills breakfast spot that’s been serving up classic breakfast fare for decades. It’s not as trendy as The Rox Diner, but the portions are decent, the food is tasty, and you can almost always get a seat. I find the wait staff affable and attentive. This isn’t the place to come for a high end meal with a cozy ambiance, but if you want a big omelette or some fried eggs and bacon and a bottomless cup of coffee, it’s as good a place as any. I wouldn’t say it’s cheap, but I don’t consider any place cheap anymore. At the time of this review, I paid $13 for a Greek omelette, home fries and toast. That’s seems steep to me, but again, I’m old enough to remember the same meal costing $5, so my perception is admittedly skewed.
