A friend recommended this restaurant because of the great food that they serve. I took their advice and ordered a 5-piece tender option with bread, coleslaw, a cup of sauce, plus a drink. Either way, we’re in for some problems here. When the food was served to me, aesthetically, it looked excellent. But beyond that, we’re going downhill. Everything was lukewarm at best. The chicken was cooked, so we’re good there. The hottest sauce they offered was buffalo, so I’ll take that. OMG, how much sodium chloride (salt) did you need to add to it? The chicken had no flavor, the coleslaw was ok, and the grey cup of paste, what was that? In summary, based on my interaction and opinion, go somewhere else. Bottom line, a fast-food chick with some sauce is better than what I had. BUT this is MY OWN opinion, yours may vary.

First time there! Was really excited to try the coleslaw. It was a big disappointment!!! It was sour so I knew it was no good to eat. My tenders looked like they were cooked way too long or in old grease. The flavor was bland and both the breading and the fries needed salt. The place was neat and tidy and the service was good. I felt it was a little discerning that if I had eaten the coleslaw, and gotten sick from it. Other than that, everything was pleasant. Service was a normal wait time. The Magoo sauce was very delicious and I also got ranch that tasted homemade. Bonus points!

We ordered with Frank, he took his time and told us all about the place. Very friendly and helpful with our meals. Salads came out in record time .
We wanted salad so we came to Huey Magoo’s and we were not disappointed.
My husband ordered the Magoo’s favorite salad and he got the crispy tenders.
I ordered the farm fresh and I got the grilled tenders.
Whoever was grilling the chicken did an excellent job, nice and moist.
The salads had great flavor.
The people there working were exceptional, friendly, and outgoing.
The only disappointing thing was both our forks broke!

Chicken is not overcooked, so not chewy like so many other chicken places. Fries were crispy. All was well seasoned and not over salted like so many other chicken places.

It is always a joy doing business at the Huey Magoo’s in Saint Marys, GA! The food is consistently amazing, but I have to say—it’s the management and staff that truly make this location top-notch. Every single employee is so sweet, pleasant, and welcoming. They always go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied and leave with a smile.

Me and my boyfriend absolutely love coming here, we usually have such a good experience with the food tasting amazing to the wonderful workers. However we came yesterday not sure if they were having a bad day but the chicken was absolutely terrible. They were very chewy like to the point of it tasting almost like rubber. The breading was very hard (which is usually fine with the both of us lol) however this time it was more like biting into a rock? The fries tasted freezer burnt. And overall neither of us could finish the food. I’m talking not even more than a tender we were both very upset. Strangely enough he even tasted something off with the sauce. I’m hoping you guys didn’t change any recipes because we absolutely love your food but please fix this!!

My husband and I went to Huey magoos today in Camden county GA. I got the 10 chicken original bites meal and he got the buffalo chicken wrap meal. The wrap was sooooo soggy he didn’t even eat it. I don’t mean to complain but below is a picture of how soggy it was and my receipt. We literally threw it away. I could see if we asked for extra sauce but we didn’t. If this how is how it comes normally we won’t be getting it again. I wanted to reach out to someone before I put it on the google site. Please tell them to do better. No one likes soggy bread!!

Our online order was correct, packaged well, food was hot and delicious! Staff greeted me as I walked in, and my food was ready a mere moments after I walked in. We love eating here occasionally as a treat and everything was so good.
