When I sat down there was 4 glasses on napkins at my table i had to clear away to have room for my food to be placed. They immediatly brought out ice watter in a plastic pitcher that was covered in grease spots and stains from them throwing the pitcher and greasey pans into cold water into the same sink together. The ice had floating black bits from the ice machine needing serviced… I asked for a soda and the guy was confused, so i asked again and again… he just looked at me and said no drinks only water… the wayer tasted like dirty pitcher and stale old never changed filtered tab water… i avoided as much as i could, while it wont kill you it was unpleasent.
The menu waa cheap plastic copy paper pages typed out on ms word that were stained sticky and wrinkled… needed to wash my hands after touching
Finally my food arrived and it was decent, the rice… my first indian meal where the rice was not nicely seasoned… very plan no ciltrao and lime etc, not the best indian ive had but 3/5 stars. My main complaint is ive never not been given naan bread with my meal before. And i felt like from all the lazy cuts and changes that they probably dont offer anything that couldnt be mass made and held in a big pot in the back.
All in all this place seems to barely be running and mainly as a order to go place. If you dont mind runjing the risk of getting sick from all the short cuts and as a food safety trained/ex resturant runner…. the massive amount of food safety violations… then maybe its for you.
It’s nice & quiet here and not busy
The atmosphere reminded me of a motel
I like the fancy water goblets
I would come just for the kheer! It is so tasty!
But I doubt if I will come again because the food is not my style & the quiet atmosphere & dirty building seem weird and it is really really expensive! 50 bucks for 2 adults and a child
Update:
Each time I’ve been here since initially I was more disappointed than the last time. Food wasn’t as good, not as fresh, environment getting worn down. I hope they step their game up.
Had a wonderfully delicious brunch buffet here.
Excellent service. Comfortable, clean, cool restaurant atmosphere. Reasonable prices. I will revisit.
I’ve never tried Indian food before, though my friend has been urging me to visit Kababesh Grill for years. I didn’t have anything against it—I just hadn’t ventured into Indian cuisine. But then I saw a photo of butter chicken that sparked my curiosity, and I finally gave in.
For my first order, I chose Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naan… and wow. Absolutely delicious! I had no idea what to expect, but I’m completely hooked now. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the naan? Perfectly warm and garlicky.
I’ve been back often since that first bite, and the drive-thru makes it super easy and convenient. The gentleman who runs it is always so polite and welcoming—it’s the kind of place that makes you feel genuinely appreciated as a customer.
If you’re on the fence like I was, take the leap. Kababesh Grill turned me into a regular, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
