Wow! What a fun night! We were invited for a friend’s birthday and we had a great time. The food was very tasty and the service was impeccable. But then the party really started! We danced and had a great time until they made us leave. Very fun vibe. I highly recommend checking it out!

We couldn’t find the menu on the website, so here are some pictures. The food was good, the prices are reasonable for Courchevel. The service is a bit chaotic, sometimes you need to wait to be seated or get the menu for no obvious reason (we arrived early and the place was still empty). Be mindful that between 20:00 and 23:00 there is a live singer (French classics), so it’s not at all a party vibe like you see on their Insta page. Overall our experience was good though.

3.4 on Google is wildly generous for this place. The food is painfully basic, not worth the money or the calories. The waiter was nice, but the hostesses were giving major attitude for no reason (seriously, is that part of the dress code or just the personality? Giving dirty 2007 club vibes).
Honestly, this would be the last place I’d recommend for dinner. Do yourself a favor and go to LouLou, Jais or Salto instead.

Ok ambiance the door guy is very disrespectful acting as if the place is free doesn’t know how deal with clients in the area for the money being spent he should have some class and talk with respect who does he think he asking to see who coming if the dress code is complies then you open the door and be quite and welcoming terrible first point of interaction for a business the music was good similar to everything being played. The waiter was nice and the hostess was ok especially after the terrible first interaction with the door guy – the place was not full but the energy i got from that first interaction is that its sold out for months but it wasn’t
Terrible door guy he’s not handling the door at a rave or a cheap night club this is courchevel class is needed teach him or replace him !!! Didn’t meet expectations = which lead me to leave and not continue the night at the establishment would spend 10x elsewhere just because of that disrespectful attitude of his

CROOKS!

Dined here on Feb 11, 2026, and thought we went in with eyes wide open. But they still robbed us in ways I didn’t think possible:
– Were offered outrageously-priced fresh fish, lobster, and Tomahawk steaks on top of the regular menu items. Managed to roll them them back to just the seabass special, which ended up being a modest bite for each person for the un-modest cost of 560 Euros.
– During the ordering process they tried to get us to order King Crab Tartare, and we declined. None was served to us, and yet two portions still showed up on our bill for a total of 264 Euros. Didn’t notice until the next day, upon contacting them they declined to take the charge off.
– Ordering wine, they indicated that the cheapest bottle of white wine that they had available was 420 Euros / bottle, they were out of all of their “cheaper” wine. Shameless upsell.
– Adding insult to injury, they asked for a 20% tip at the end of the meal. I told them I would pay 15% (which was still far too much), and then ended up tacking on a 17.5% tip (again which I didn’t notice until the next day).

We knew that we were going to be paying through the nose to dine here, but didn’t realize how many different ways they would try to rip you off. If money is no object, and you don’t mind being taken advantage of, go and enjoy the show. But they are flat-out slimy crooks, and would best be avoided.

I rarely write reviews, but our experience at La Mangeoire in Courchevel was so disappointing that I feel obligated to share it — especially given the very high prices and reputation of this place.
From the very beginning, things felt off. I picked up my knife and it was dirty and sticky — something that should never happen in a restaurant of this supposed caliber. My friend had the same issue with her cutlery. This alone would have been annoying, but it was just the start.
When we ordered wine by the glass, I asked to see the bottle before it was poured. Usually this is standard practice. But at La Mangeoire, staff hesitated, avoided the request, and only reluctantly showed the bottle after multiple prompts. It felt strange and dismissive, like they didn’t want to serve us properly.
The service got worse. We were three people — me, my husband, and our friend — and all three of us ordered our main courses. My friend’s main course was simply forgotten. We were already eating when it finally showed up. That in itself was disappointing, but the real shock was what the manager told us.
He tried to claim that our friend had originally said she didn’t want to eat anything at all, which was a flat-out lie. She clearly ordered — including lamb — and yet they tried to tell us she had supposedly said she didn’t want dinner. Hearing that lie from the manager, not just a waiter, was insulting and unbelievable.
Then, when it was dessert time, we thought maybe the restaurant would acknowledge the mistake — a free dessert or some gesture of apology would have been the minimum given what happened. But when asked, we were told no, absolutely not — and again the excuse was their own nonsense story about our friend.
Overall, the attitude made us feel like guests who didn’t “matter” because we hadn’t ordered an expensive bottle of wine. For such high prices, the service was shockingly careless, dismissive, and at times rude.
This restaurant is pretentious trash hiding behind a fancy name and inflated prices. I’m giving one star — and even that feels generous. I would not recommend La Mangeoire to anyone.

I am disgusted by how we were treated at La Mangeoire. When I made the reservation via WhatsApp, nothing was mentioned about any dress requirement. If this had been communicated properly, I would have dressed differently or simply not gone at all. Instead, we were put in a humiliating and uncomfortable situation after arriving.

We reached at 7:40 pm and were told to wait outside in the snow and freezing cold, which was already unacceptable. Then we were insisted upon to remove our covering during the course, even after explaining clearly that we cover for religious reasons and could not remove it. This was incredibly insensitive and inappropriate.

On top of that, the person at the front desk around 8 pm on Tuesday, the 10th of February was extremely rude, cold, and dismissive, speaking to us in a way that felt unwelcoming and disrespectful. There was no attempt to handle the situation professionally or with basic human decency.

For a restaurant that claims to offer a hospitality experience, this level of disrespect, poor communication, and lack of cultural awareness is shocking. Customers should never be pressured to compromise their religious beliefs to dine somewhere.

Absolutely unacceptable.

It’s a excellent kitchen, service determined to sabotage it.
There were three of us. The food was genuinely good — credit where it’s due, the chef clearly knows what they’re doing. Unfortunately, the front of house seemed to be running a completely different operation.
One main course simply never arrived for the third guest.
Mistakes happen — fine. What didn’t happen was accountability. Instead, we were told “he didn’t want to eat”. A bold piece of fiction, considering we were all sitting at the same table watching him… want to eat.
The waiter was tense and unfriendly, as if we hadn’t come for dinner but to sit an exam in his mood — and somehow still managed to fail it.
The bill included items we never ordered.
Not a rounding error — just extra charges. Do check your bill carefully unless you’re feeling charitable and fancy sponsoring someone else’s meal.
When we raised the issue, a manager appeared — even more pompous and rude — to “defend” the situation rather than fix it. Very theatrical. Not especially helpful.
The real shame is: this place used to be excellent.
The kitchen still deserves praise, but the service and attitude currently undo all the hard work on the plate.

Horrible place! Spent a ton of money and they keep taking our untouched food away! We got a last seating and still they did everything to kick us out. Ridiculous. Plus people that show up to stand at the bar are very trashy.

La Mangeoire is extremely overhyped and didn’t meet expectations at all. The atmosphere felt chaotic, and the live singing was more distracting than entertaining. I would strongly advise avoiding the squid, as it didn’t seem fresh and made several of us feel unwell.
