My new favourite spot!
Everyone needs a place where everything just feels right and this is it. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re welcomed into a beautiful, warm space. The staff are incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly
The food was outstanding full of flavour, made with fresh ingredients, and perfectly prepared. Every meal was a solid 10 across the board. The drinks were just as impressive and absolutely delicious.
We were celebrating my sister’s birthday, and the experience went above and beyond. She received a complimentary dessert, a birthday song from the live band, warm hugs from the hostesses, and even the staff joined in singing for her. To top it all off, the owner personally came to our table to greet us and check in.
The overall experience was exceptional, the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back ❤️

We had a fantastic experience at Liberty Restaurant in Craighall during their Restaurant Week 3-course menu. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the complimentary cocktail was a lovely bonus. Overall, a wonderful lunch with great food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. This truly is a hidden gem. I was looking for a boozy brunch and Liberté was just what I had in mind. They do a brilliant brunch and mimosa special; any breakfast option on the menu and 4 mimosas for R295pp. The mimosas were consistently boozy and delicious, while the food offered more than enough yum to line our stomachs nicely.

Nice spot with a good atmosphere. Good cocktails but would prefer a few more non alcoholic options. Sole was delicious and side salad ample and tasty. Fillet was too oily for our liking.

This place is super cute. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had planned to just get drinks but they ended up giving us a complimentary starter that was delicious. They have a wide selection of cocktails although only one nonalcoholic option, the prices are pretty standard for Johannesburg, not outrageously expensive. The restaurant itself is beautiful and lends itself to really nice photos. I think it would be a nice place for a girls dinner or date night, it is a little on the fancy side. I will definitely be back to try the food.
