Great fresh sushi! Staff were very friendly and welcoming m.
Was my first time ordering a chefs roll(Chesapeake Roll) and was really sad when only 4 slices were given for the price of 13.95 🙁 I’ll order their food again and probably just stick with my usual salmon and tuna avocado rolls. Miso soup was yummy

We LOVE Oishi because it’s very hard to find delicious, but more importantly safe, gluten-free food in our area when you have Celiac disease. The staff are always so kind and confirm my gluten-free meal.is separate. And my non-gluten free family always enjoy their meal as well. My 12 year old craves their dumplings!
They are very appreciative for their customers, much to my daughter’s delight, when they offer her extra Japanese candy/treats.

Oishi truly lives up to its name—it’s simply delicious! From the fresh ingredients to the rich flavors, every bite is a delight. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is top-notch, making it a fantastic dining experience. If you’re in Maryland, this spot is a must-try for anyone who loves great food!

BEST SUSHI PLACE EVER.
My wife and I came back just four weeks after our first visit, and once again, it did not disappoint!
The chef, as always, prepared our custom smoked salmon and salmon skin sushi to perfection. As a fun bonus, they even gave us sushi stickers afterward!
This is hands down the most accommodating and satisfying sushi spot in the area.
If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Chik-fil-a would’ve been a better place. The service was not like what was raved about in the other comments. We were not greeted when we came in and it took forever for our waiter to get us our menus despite the two of us being the only ones there. No pleasantries. He clearly did not want to be there. The only thing i really liked was the terp roll. Other than that, we had the Gyoza which was alright and the teriyaki bowl which mainly consisted of sugar and barely cooked broccoli and carrots. It was terrible. Before leaving, my mother had used the restroom which she described as dirty and dusty. This will be our first and last time there.

Oishi Japanese Cuisine has been one of our favorites for years. Even though it’s a bit of a drive, we still DoorDash from here often. However, dining in is a whole different experience. The food tastes incredible fresh from the kitchen, and the staff is always welcoming and attentive.
The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for a night out. We’re big fans of their Drunken Noodles, great flavor and easily one of the best around. Oishi never disappoints!

One of the best places to get fresh, good quality sushi in the DMV area. The service is always attentive & courteous. The huge selection of rolls makes it convenient and easy for big parties to share. Each roll was delicious and had a unique blend of flavors. Everything tasted fresh and didn’t seem like it was sitting around. The nigiri sushi pieces were juicy and refreshing. It was SO good – I’m definitely going back!

Don’t sleep on Oishi!!! Always consistently delicious, fresh and amazing customer service. Michael, Chef and team are all friendly, wonderful people who want you to have the best experience. The rolls are inventive, but the menu isn’t overly extensive- because it allows the ingredients to be as fresh as possible! They keep the most popular rolls-and let me just say we have tried many- though never a disappointment. The soups, appetizers, noodles, tempura, entrees are all excellent. Cannot recommend enough.
