We hadn’t eaten here in a couple years. Decided to go see the Christmas decorations & eat supper. There were only 3 other people there the whole time we were there! How do they stay in business!?
My hubby & I had the catfish dinner with fries & slaw & the Bourbon burger with Mac&cheese. It was all very good. Only complaint was that the Mac & cheese was barely lukewarm so I took it home & heated it up to eat it.
Our son & daughter in law however had a terrible meal. I felt bad for them considering it cost them over $80 with tip. They should’ve complained to a manager but instead they just won’t be back. They had a NY strip that was so dry & tough that she didn’t eat 1/4th of it. My dog got the $40 steak. My son had the Rosemary chicken dinner that was 2 very thin & dried out chicken breasts. They should never have served those to anyone. They looked terrible & he said tasted as bad as it looked.
The rolls were very good.
Overall, ours was good, although it was rather pricey & such a long drive to get there! Our son’s though was definitely not worth it. We don’t recommend either of those dinners! So this review is based solely on mine & my husband’s meals.

The two stars are for our wonderful servers who tried to entertain and be attentive to us in these dark (quite literally in regards to those chicken ‘tenders’) times.
The food here was a -5/5.
The worst meal my family of 8 has ever had in our entire lives!
Drinks came quick, alcohol was good (bar gets a 5 Star), and there was zero flavor outside of garlic between 10 plates.
The nachos were okay— like a middle school concession stand, lukewarm cheese and onion seemingly chopped by a disgruntled teen.
There was a nacho in my sister’s fries.
The chicken tenders were akin to ashes.
That pizza(s) were an insult to chef boyardee. One was doughy, the other my brother’s gf couldn’t chew with her braces.
The potato’s were good. 90% garlic and potato skin but at least we had flavor somewhere.
Then you had my steak. Which tastes like shoe leather, depression, and made me dang near lose my will to live. Especially with that heap of peas nobody asked for! (:
I ask for medium… it came out dry as a desert. Send the kitchen help!
Not good for food but great for a laugh! Thanks again to our servers! Definitely stopping through a drive-thru on our way home tho.

My husband and I stayed at the lodge for his birthday weekend and we went to dinner on his birthday night and we were blown away by the experience! The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing, and the live music was absolutely incredible! I told our waitress, Haley, that it was my husband’s birthday and she went above and beyond. She was so thoughtful and her service was amazing. She even gave him a card and wrote ‘Happy Birthday’ on a plate to go with his free caramel cheesecake, it was so sweet! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with an even more beautiful view! We will definitely dine here again next time we stay at the lodge! Thanks Haley! 🙂

Made reservations at 6pm for 14 people. Took over 2 hours to get our food. This had to be the worst experience I have ever had dining out. When our food finally arrived it looked like it had sat under the heat lamp for 20 minutes. The steak I ordered was dried out and barely above room temperature. Such a let down, how do you fumble this badly?

This was genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Came in with a party of about ten. The restaurant barely had anyone in it, so I know it was not a case of the kitchen being overwhelmed. About ten minutes after we ordered, our waitress came back and told us they were out of prime rib. Which, fine, happens. Ordered something else and proceeded to wait for nearly forty-five minutes. Half the party was served their orders after about half an hour, while the rest of us sat with the bread (didn’t even bring salads out). When our food did finally arrive, my order had the wrong sides, every piece of meat that had been ordered was overcooked to the consistency of shoe leather, and we were only provided butter knives to cut with. The (wrong) sides that came with my meal were almost inedible…the garlic mashed potatoes were like biting into raw garlic and the salad dressing was genuinely awful. To finish out, I had to pay decent steakhouse prices for chain hotel buffet quality. This place is absolutely not worth the price.

Reasonably priced breakfast options for adults. We had the breakfast special two days and a regular option one day. The wait staff was really friendly and quick. They made sure our coffees were topped off and gave us ones to-go as well.

I enjoyed our dinner, definitely got our BBQ “fix”. I had the Brisket burnt ends. Seriously, only issue I had was the overwhelming sugary BBQ sauce that was added. If they focused more on juicy crispy burnt ends… They may be on to something.

If you want to throw away money this will be the place to eat. Showed up on a Saturday expecting it to be packed, very little customers and after our visit I know why. The staff was amazing great atmosphere the food was horrible. The overpriced ribeye was over cooked, when brought to the chef attention he needed to see, meaning he didn’t believe the customer. Food was replaced but the potato was burnt the Mac and cheese was overcooked and the brisket was awful. I will not be going back here.
