We know that this place has been here for a long time, but we had our favorite Mexican restaurant and it was closer, until it closed. So we went here for the first time as we are still in search for our “Go To” Mexican restaurant. The food was great and everything came out hot. The service was great and our waitress was pleasant. We will be going back.

Place wasn’t that busy.. and they got rid of bingo nights two months ago.. family loved coming to do those. That was the only other decent thing about the place besides the food. Server charged us for an extra side of rice that no one ordered and had to be told that he was missing our two sides of beans, and misheard a child in our party and bought out the wrong tacos with the wrong meat on them so they had to be sent back. The chicken poblano was good though, I’d recommend it. It had plenty of flavor.

We came about an hour and a half before closing on a Tuesday and it was lively as ever! Apparently bingo night was going on and they had a DJ so the vibes were fun and inviting. The food was stellar and the service was quick and friendly. We got refills on our complimentary chips and salsa and they made sure our drinks were never empty. Would come again!

Salsa taste like canned tomato sauce. You can taste the tin from the can. Goes well with the store bought tortilla chips. Stay away from the enchiladas and especially the chile relleno. The chili relleno was inedible as tough as leather. In my humble opinion I believe they use American cheese and did not deep fry it in a proper batter. This place is truly for people who do not know anything about Mexican. food. Refried beans are good though.

So first thing, the place is gorgeous and colorful and I loved the artwork in the tables and chairs. Unfortunately, nothing else was as good. Maybe it was an off night but I just did not have a good experience.
The table seemed dirty with something stuck on it. There was trash under it and chips debris on the seats. Our server seemed a little irritated that we asked for it to be wiped down.
The food was basic…while the fried ice cream for dessert was good, the meal wasn’t very good. There wasn’t much meat on the taco salad.
Our server did the bare minimum. It seemed like because we were two people, we weren’t worth her time. She didn’t refill our drinks, didn’t check on us and kept trying to rush us out of there. The only time she did come over was to see if we were done and ready to go… a couple of times. She also seemed short amd irritated.
As I said, maybe it was an off night. I would try the place again, just to see if it was a one off.

They served me frozen taquitos you can buy at Costco for $9 bucks and I initially ordered flautas and got taquitos, my friend ordered taquitos and got the same taquitos I got for my order got and then my other friend ordered enchiladas and same taquitos but with cheese on top. It’s like they used the same product and make it different ways and give them different price points that is still overly expensive for what the actual product is and you can’t tell it’s store bought. The drinks were good and also the waitress came to clean our table and used an old stinky rag that left a smell of rancid mildew and I had to eat my food with that disgusting smell. I took my water cup and napkin and washed the table down since our waitress was no where to be found. But the highlight is the music is very good and a lot of young people go so the environment is great and so are the drinks but the sit down service I would not recommend.
