I had a great experience at La Garita in Columbus, GA. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. The tostones with garlic are amazing, and the beef stew with arroz con gandules was packed with flavor. The portions are very generous, and the customer service is excellent. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Food is delicious. Cost of food very reasonable starting at 2.50. A must visit if you are in Columbus Georgia. Pastries are awesome and reasonable prices.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. We got a mofongo bowl and a roasted pork plate and every element was well seasoned and well cooked. The pork was fall-apart tender and moist, the rice and peas were richly seasoned and flavorful and the cookie we got was wonderful. The service here could not be better. Everyone was incredibly friendly, walked us through the menu and made recommendations. If we weren’t just passing through town we would make this a weekly visit.
Do yourself a favor and eat here.

Loved it. The service was friendly and welcoming. We were a group of 10 and they treated everyone of us attentively. Definitely felt like home. They have a wide selection of Puerto Rican goods, I can honestly say they had more variety than some places IN Puerto Rico. Loved it, definitely recommend!!!

Amazing authentic Puertorican food. It’s a small store with a small and fresh menu that is made every day. You can also find baked goods from the Island, pan sobao and even alcapurias. If you are Puertorican, you will feel at home. I % recommend it!

I meant to write this as soon as we left on Saturday morning, but I got sidetracked and forgot. La Garita is an adorable little place with excellent food and service. Best guava danish/pastry ever. So fresh!!!! And the sandwiches are massive – they are not stingy with the meat!! My fiance and I both ordered sandwiches, and we could only finish half of them. One would have been plenty for the both of us! Also, the pizza empanada was so incredibly delicious!!!! Amazing prices for the amount of food you get, and the people were so very friendly and welcoming, just a great experience all the way around. We will definitely be returning!!! Highly recommended!!! 100 A+++
PS – I loved the mural, beautiful artwork!

The most delicious Puerto Rican food in Geogia. The Cube Stake (Biftec) was so so good, the service and the empanadas (pastelillo) fresh and delicious. The price is so low you can eat with $10 bucks or less. I will come again. The rice and beans wit Cilantro are like our Abuelas (Grandma) doit in PR. You can also find PR Sodas and canned food, like a bodega in PR. Go and visit this place there Friendly owner will attend you. Visiten este lugar la comida deliciosa el arroz con Habichuelas guisadas y el bistec el mejor. Venden pastelillos de diferentes sabores y sodas y otros productos de PR. Los Sanwiches con pan de agua riquísimos
